In all honesty, it's been a tough few months for Liquid. There was once a time when Liquid dominated the foreign scene, and Jinro was over in Korea doing very well in the GSL (back to back semis). Now look at them. Hero's been doing pretty well, but his wins were largely against foreigners (except Puma at DH). But Jinro cannot even qualify for Code A anymore, Tyler and TLO have not had results in months. Haypro had a good MLG Providence, only to get knocked out in the first round at DH. Ret's been doing decently well, but not anything really impressive. Huk plays for EG now. It's been tough for Liquid, and now this. just saying. That games played like 1.5 month ago,if there is a rematch between QIM and TL in this times,TL will destroy QIM even with their "BIG" koreans. Currently HerO,Ret,JinrO,Zenio is on their best conditions. also @aviator116 you must learn difference between "see" and "look". you just look to results but not seeing truth. Stop being ridiculous. Spoiler of Games tonight + Show Spoiler +Jinro -> Always hated TvP and it was just bad 1st pick, he has a long record to loosing to Sase along with that, He is not well rounded in matchups
Sheth played horribly there imo. the casters said he was playing fine and Sase was playing brilliantly but really Sheth was just loosing units back to back with controls and not paying a attention to his units..
Tyler -> Major Lead with great control at the start but then his the casters did not mention that his obs got snipe so he could not pressure at all. if he was to blink in the dark that would be dumb and risky.
Ret -> Build order lost, along with "no overlord scouting the general area"(This may be false)
Hero -> okay he just was ignorant, but would love to get a word of his play / idea for doing that build in such a risky game.
Please note im taking nothing away from Sase, he is amazing player and won the games. Fast forward a 1.5 Months + Show Spoiler +Jinro -> Going in minitornies , plays are going much better motivated
Sheth -> Best he has ever been, his ZvP as been decreasing though but his ZvT is amazing at the moment
Tyler -> Is starting to play again more and more each day and is improving but is still weak as player because of his medical condition as of late
Ret -> 20Games >/= A day when he barely plays

Wow, I cannot believe that this thread has turned into an ongoing debate about Liquid's skill. No one doubts that Liquid is a really good team, but Sase just outplayed them today, and QIM is still a stronger team. End of story. Now let's all come together, hold hands, and sing Kum Ba Ya.

I am really sorry I wrote anything in this thread at all now. I definitely do not have a flair for conveying tongue in cheek over the internet. And writing anything where the op is a troll or just blatantly wrong is probably never a good idea.
Good games for Sase. Hope he continues to improve, continues to kick ass in Team Arena and can overcome his nerves in the GSL. <3

Nerves making him the ace player on TL puts x10 more pressure and his dreamhack win gave the other 6 Players more motivation to play. Now they vs Regin, which was played today or yesterday I believe but not positive They have a new player able to be played Sheth and Ret are better and top of their game Hero is stronger in overcoming nerves much better Along with there oldies playing much more they will be fine... Tl;dr -> its no biggy every team performs poorly in life.. -_- Hero isn't capable of beating MVP. You are overrating him severely.(I don't mean like in 100 games he wouldn't win a game or something just in general he isn't a match. NaNiWa capable to beating MVP and HerO isnt? hehehehehe. Haha your absolutely right. It is more correct to say, hero most likely won't beat mvp. HerO is so much better than NaNiWa. The End. MVP is so much better than HerO. The End. (Haha it's been nice talking to you. Lots of laughs :D) /sarcasm If HerO so much better than naniwa and naniwa managed to beat MVP,this isnt make HerO better than MVP and giving him a big chance for beating MVP? The End. Huk beat Hero. Naniwa beat Huk. therefore Naniwa beats Hero. The End. Comparing skill of players via pvp. Hmmm.... i could also say huk beat MVP who beat Hero so Huk> Hero, or Huk beat DRG who beat Hero so Huk>Hero, but that would take a while.

Hero.... -> Please note if you think Hero is unable to beat SaSe, or any one on IM you are ignorant. He beats these players constantly on stream(Yah its practice but does not mean he is not capable of it) but what it comes down too is... i just tried to say if NaNiWa managed to beat MVP in bo3,HerO can do this too.Because HerO superior to naniwa at macro/micro/multitasking/mind games.

teamliquid!! : ((.really didn't expect a SaSe allkill.

All I have to say is let's see how Liquid does in the next round against ReIGN. They play like they did today, and ReIGN will beat them, but if they pull it together, they can still make a respectable run in the tournament.
