However, I've decided to temporarily stop moving games to the OP. My reason is simply that with so many games to watch there, adding even more games makes it ever more likely that some will just get lost in the crowd. This wouldn't be a big deal, except that I'd really like to encourage people to vote for the games in the OP: it's the voting more than anything else that helps sort out the really classic, must-watch games from games that might not be required viewing. I capped the list at 50 games, which is a nice round number. I should make it clear that the suspension of adding games to the OP is only temporary: as the existing games get more votes, in either direction, they will be shuffled off to the OP's version of Paradise and Purgatory, clearing space for new games to join the main list. Meanwhile, if you (somehow) have watched every game in the main list, the archives, and the "Games that might be worth watching" sublist and your lust for Starcraft still isn't satiated, feel free to go through the thread yourself, of course. | ||

Is it possible that you could update the main list to 50, but only include optimal Korean VODs in the main list? English commentary is really niche and I feel it will scare people away from watching the VODs and voting (at least, it has done so for me). I think the niche English VODs should stay in a separate spoiler and stay there haha... for those brave enough to listen to them. edit: ah, it's not as bad as I thought... just the first 10 or so entries in the main list. Also, people new to watching a game usually prefer English commentary, to help them pick up the basics--it may be niche but I suspect it's a bigger niche than you realize, considering the influx of newcomers to TL since Starcraft 2 came out. Meanwhile, I don't see why English commentary should scare people like you away from watching any VODs. I know you like to be thorough, but if you don't like those, just skip them. I'll try to do a better job of marking which VODs are in English. It's also sub-optimal to use hour long 10 Years Star Age videos for 15 minute games.... I actually don't see what the big deal is here. It is definitely annoying when the game starts half an hour in and you have to find where it starts--for those VODs I tried to make sure the embedded video started at the right time--but does it really matter so much if the VOD goes on after the game ends? If you're actually watching the game, you'll know when it ends, and you can stop watching then. I suppose there would be a little unnecessary bandwidth overhead.
