In fact, you can not become angry at all, you must stay calm and collected and apologize often, always reinforcing that you care and love your partner and would never do anything to intentionally hurt them!
What the heck are you thinking? While you're right with staying calm and collected, which is very important to discuss things properly, you don't need to apologise for shit, if you know you're right. You're sounding incredibly insecure and somehow I get the impression that you're the kind of man who lets women take control over you.

Get your GF to thrust you hanging out with other women. If she can't she is to clingy/naggy/whatever.
Then either:
a Get another girlfriend
b Cut of your female friends
c Do what you want without her consent.

A 1 on 1 meeting between two people of opposite genders is awfully close in feeling to a date unless the bond is a very longstanding brother/sister type bond (even if you are not related by blood) or there's absolutely no physical attraction (and if your friend who happens to be a girl is somewhat pretty, there probably is at least some attraction).
If you're serious about your G/F, then meeting another woman 1 on 1 just to "hang out" is a dangerous game in more ways than one.

Nope no sarcasm, I believe astrology is a nice and useful map for people's non-circumstancial, non-genetic personality. It's in the right ball park about 9 times out of 10 for me. Helps me greatly in dealing with people.
Also, I would rather you tell me why my opinion is crazy than just tell me it is ¬¬.

ok well here's my experience. my ex gf was really jealous type. she'd get mad at me even for talking to my other friends who were girls... its mostly an insecurity on their end that has a negative backlash on you.
it all depends on how you view it though. if you really value your other friendships, and your gf wants you essentially to give them up, then I'd consider dropping your gf. the way I look at it... relationships are mostly temporary (unless your madly in love or something), but friendships are everlasting. therefore, your friendships should be more valuable and not worth giving up.
i ended up breaking up with my gf, and that was one of the reasons.
