And double lift said down to his people "we will be fine".
Also I feel horrible that after watching pax at 60 fps everything else is going to look so bad in comparison.

Seemed like LGN didn't really take advantage of their early game strength and just played way too passively when CLG's team comp was much better late game. Orianna, Cho and Vlad vs Gragas, Maokai and Irelia. Game 1 seemed like a stomp from the start so didn't bother, can't skip on US stream vods easily which made it too difficult to watch game 2 and the DIG vs TD series. Very accurate. Despite having a lead and stronger champs early/mid, Lgn let CLG dictate the game to them and lost accordingly. Likely an experience thing. This would've been a huge upset. Probably the biggest single game any of their players had been in. I expect they'll perform better in similar situations in the future.

While all but the CLG/LGN games were 2-0, did any of the underdogs put up a decent fight, or were they fairly clinical dismantlings of less experienced teams? Outside of CLG/LGN I would characterize the games as close during the laning phase (with the underdogs often having the gold advantage when teamfights break out). Then during teamfights TSM/Curse/Dig absolutely dominated with stronger decision making, better comps and flat out playing like a better TEAM. This was especially evident during the Curse/TSM.evo series where Curse absolutely dismantled TSM.evo in teamfights despite being slightly behind. CLG/LGN - g1 was an absolute stomp, make LGN look like the number 117 in NA rather than number 7. g2 was brilliant - go watch that game right now. g3 had LGN in the gold lead in the early game but CLG gritted it out. Ultimately few blowouts and compeitive games and we haven't even gotten to the 'big' games yet

They play unbelievably cautious. Watch voyboy top lane in some of the encounters and how many creeps he was willingly missing to make sure he wasn't getting ganked. CLG played unbelievably well to make sure they didn't fall behind too meaningfully.

Laning phase in for all of Evo MME and TD often ended up with the underdogs have a small gold lead, or other such advantage. Transitioning into the midgame, late game decision making, and team fighting was pretty clear cut in favor of Dig TSM and CRS. The more experienced teams showcased their abilities to sieze opportunities and capitalize on poor positioning, or poor decision making (You would often see the big teams being able to pick up a free tower here or there while the underdogs were disorganized, despite often being behind on gold or strength at the time).

Just as a comparison 720/1080P Videos on Youtube and twitch do not cause this problem, just Riot/s stream.

Yeah I definitely believe the teams will either play their best standard on the first game then show strats the second. They still probably want to gauge how good their standard is in relation to the other teams and may use it to establish a safe foothold. Of course if they decide to show off things into the first game and lose, falling back to standard could be very detrimental to the flow of the series. Today will be a great display of play and nerves. I hope that it's more amazing play than choking however.
