this one is neat.

but isnt there another spot of monsieur J, that was airing on GSL, wich was simply showing the guy and the bottle and everything was blurred as usual in this kind of commercials.
then the "i hate you" popped up. creating an even more surreal moment then the spot mentioned in the thread, wich is kind of story based.

does somebody remember this?

I really like it. It's extremely artistic. First off, with the snail. It represents a lot about life and social constructs. He's moving slow while being watched by a strange man. This is symbolic - It's like you going through life, going to college, going to prom ect and you have the whole world watching (the man). Pay attention to the fact that the snail doesn't react to the man. Similar to us, we just want to be left in piece and move forward.

The "i hate you" has to deal with relationships. Monsieur J is a fragrance for men, and rather recently a movement has been started around "conforming to womanhood" (That's what they call it in San Fran, probably different in other places). Women are upset by men doing typical "female only" stuff such as buying expensive clothing (Just watch the ad. Triple AAA+ quality clothing) and using fragrances such as Monsieur J. I know a few places that were robbed blind because they were "giving womanly attributes to men" such as perfume places that sold men perfume. This is what "i hate you" represents, the society in which we live in. We cannot do anything without getting hatred from someone. If you eat a piece of meat, you will offend a lot of vegetarians. Anything and everything you can do is hateful to someone in some way. But, similarly to the snail, you must move forward and ignore the outside.

You know the funniest part is what this line of products actually is. If you look closely at the bottles during the GSL close-ups, this is not just a set of hair products. This is actually a whitening set for Koreans to make them look more caucasian. Pale skin is actually revered in most of Asia and this kind of product line is not unusual over there. Still kinda crazy to have as a Starcraft sponsor but whatever pays the bills I guess. I hate you...

So I just went to the 'Shop' and i've seen a great magazine featuring the latest restyles in the GSL due to their new sponsor.

I've took some pictures..

And apparerently its blowing over to the states aswell..

So I think I get the commercial that ends with the hate:

So you see this guy and he is acting all emo. Then you see this girl that is dancing in flowing dress. They obviously just had a fight and the girl feels that she has hand.

She decides to punish him for the fight by throwing his favorite facial cream into the lake. He sticks his face into the lake trying to see if he can see where it lands to maybe retrieve it later. Then it says i Hate you as his inner monologue. It is clever because he puts his face into the water, which is like putting on the facial cream, to show that this will be his last time feeling that watery feeling on his face.
