Things were looking really bad for our StarCraft devision a while ago. Our organisation didn't have money to sponsor SC tickets. Ret, Strafe, Twisted (me as well) all stated that they preferred paying their own ticket in case of qualification (expecting if any; only the number 1 would be able to go to San Fransisco) over not having WCG at all.
Anyway, our WCG host (props to him he really tried to do his best for the gamers) worked with this and now Netherlands has got a total of 4 (!!!) reservated spots in SF. There is a possibility of the first spot being sponsored, but if that turns out to be a failure, it would mean the numbers 1,2,3,4 of our WCG will be able to go to SF given that they will pay their own ticket.

so 1 price and 3 pay their own flight if they want to go ;o well will be a nice fight for the #1 spot since there is no 2nd price  pure battle and no lame finals where ppl random

should go arround and ask some local inet cafe's or computer stores to sponsor some money for their logo on ur shirt or something

ya u can see it as an investment in bw, it's very cool to meet all those people and stuff and i think it's easily worth the money -.- besides most of us won't be paying this cash ourselves, we can try to get personal sponsors or parents will help pay etc.
not that it matters for me since im taking #1 anyways

I think every country can send max 4 ppl.We thought we had only 2 spots,but after we asked the koreans ,they said we can send 4 in every game.So now Lamer and Didi are going to WCG ,too.
