I wish I never mentioned my age at all. 13 is a lot younger than 16 in terms of mental development. I'd say that being a 12 or 13 year old masters player is an amazing achievement and validates the thread. By the time you're 15 or 16, you're probably at 80-90% of your normal mental ability, whereas a 13 year old seems more like 40-50% to me. Obviously, I'm no doctor but as a normal person, I find such a young masters player to be very impressive. Pokebunny was doing well before he turned 16 too. This kid is begging for attention on the merit that he's 13. I'm all for him promoting his stream and I wish him the best of luck, but there are plenty of young master players out there. Also, like you said you're not a doctor don't quote mental development numbers at anyone without any remote from of information to back them up. That's kinda like me saying there's a 100% chance donkeys will take over the world within 1 year from now (in the sense that it's total bullshit and there's nothing to back it up.) Edit: Lets not forget about Illusion or Life (Quantic/Zenex respectively) and there are many others, those two are just more in the light right now than most.
The only thing I can point out is that decision making skills and the full development of the prefrontal cortex happens only in late adolescence/early adulthood, so i'm actually always amazed when a young player beats all odds and gets ahead in a game like SC2. Quick response times, split decision making, it's all quite admirable when they're young.
Hope you do well with your stream; just don't ever give up school for gaming until you're 18 and old enough to weigh out the pros & cons. I'm only saying that because a lot of young kids choose to dedicate such a large portion of their time in this industry, without considering what might happen in the future. That's my only advice for you. Good luck! <3

On a very VERY hypocritical note, I really don't see why he used the age in his title. It irks me. When Illusion (used to be on vile, and revoki previously) began as a high masters / GM player, he was 14. I never heard once from his mouth "by the way, I'm only 14". He played and got better and I respect him for keeping his modesty while still being such a strong player. On topic again, good luck Hope you improve greatly and have fun with your streaming!
Quoted for truth. Kyo no one is hating on the kid because of his skills or personality, people are just annoyed by the fact that he's attention whoring with his age. There have been many young masters players, many young grand masters players and many young tournament competitors. The main difference being you don't see them broadcasting their age, typically it's when they've shown results and their age happens to be noticed.
Want an example? Leenock.
People might have guessed he was young when he entered MLG providence 2011, but was it his sole selling point? Nope. In fact, he wasn't really known until he won said tournament and it just happened to be that he was 15 or 16. I also forgot Maru who was 14 and competing in code S.
Sorry, but using your age as a viewer attraction is going to annoy some people, and if you left the age part out you would probably get more viewers, welcome to the internet.

Good Luck Blusso, you seem like a good player Keep practicing, and you will get better and better
Don't mind some of the people posting here, good to have you in this community.

Take Care.

Stop saying you dont care about age when you obviously do. You brought this on yourself when you started praising najzmajz to no ends. Why wouldnt he want to say that hes 13 when he knows it gets more people to watch his stream.
Gl kid.

All these "I'm <15 years old" threads keeps popping up from us Swedes. When my non-existing son grows up one day, I'll teach him how to play zerg in Starcraft VI.
I wish you the best of luck. Keep fighting dude!

Man the kid is promoting his stream and said he is 13 years old, how is that whoring for attention?
Bah people always see the bad in everything.
Would any of us use just "GM USA PLAYER BLA BLA" or "13 years old GM Player?"
i think it's fine!

Just don't post in this thread? Then you don't need to see it at the sidebar and you will no longer be pissed,

I don't think Najzmajz actually have that many fans

Shouldn´t this be in the userstream section?
Why is this posted in the sc2 general forum?

Do you feel obligated to be emo as hell all over someone trying to get involved in the community?
Blows my mind how rude some people can be. @OP good luck! Don't listen to this others who, online at least, come across as much younger than you. Keep practicing ^_^! " The only reason people are on his back is because he is using his age as a crutch. If he just said - Hey, High Masters Terran streaming some fun games with commentary! - Nobody would have minded. Instead it is the idea that because he's young he's somehow exceptional and atypical that doesn't sit well with people. He has MORE time than most, MORE security than most, so what's stopping him from getting good? Nothing. That's why it isn't all that special/impressive. "The only reason people are on his back is because he is using his age as a crutch." And? Funny how people like to lecture others about their own definiton of "maturity" to make themselves feel grown-up/superior/mature. He is 13 give him a break. "Hey, High Masters Terran streaming some fun games with commentary! - Nobody would have minded." Actually I naively thought that even with his current opening post still noone would've minded but I always forget about the human nature. "Instead it is the idea that because he's young he's somehow exceptional and atypical that doesn't sit well with people." With people with the emotional maturity of a 9 year old kid. "Talk to me when you're paying your bills AND getting better at SC2. " Sour?
"He is 13 give him a break. "
Why should I give him a break? If he's going to use being 13 as a selling point then no, I shouldn't give him a break. I should expect MORE from him, if I'm going to watch his stream.
"Emotional Maturity of a 9 year old"
I don't understand this point. Because I get annoyed by kids trying to make themselves seem important before they are, I'm emotionally immature? I'd suggest that it is more of a cynical nature than an immature one.
"Sour?"
No, not sour. I'm more highly ranked than he is, and I play far less.

Enough fans to get both game and interview exposure after losing horribly on a DH event. Id say thats quite many.

I'm not impressed at all, if that's what you wanted to know.

He got an interview? I didn't know that. Maybe he is more popular than I thought :D

No I think he'll be playing the Lotv beta. Get it? Because it takes Blizzard a long to release games.
