This is not revolutionary. Anyhow, to the OP, good job on taking the initiative to get a stream started, etc. Shows a lot of "want". I'd just echo a lot of the rest of the thread and tell you to be careful as a young person on the internet. By putting up a stream with a web cam, you're really putting yourself out there, and there's plenty of adults who can't handle the criticism/scrutiny that comes with public exposure. | ||

This kid is begging for attention on the merit that he's 13. I'm all for him promoting his stream and I wish him the best of luck, but there are plenty of young master players out there. Also, like you said you're not a doctor don't quote mental development numbers at anyone without any remote from of information to back them up. That's kinda like me saying there's a 100% chance donkeys will take over the world within 1 year from now (in the sense that it's total bullshit and there's nothing to back it up.) Edit: Lets not forget about Illusion or Life (Quantic/Zenex respectively) and there are many others, those two are just more in the light right now than most. | ||

I guarantee you that I play far less than any 13 year old. Those of us who are adults have lives, work (which for me takes up many nights) and we barely get to practice at all. I don't find being young to be a detriment. In fact, you don't have to support yourself, so you likely have FAR more time to play the game and get better at it. Talk to me when you're paying your bills AND getting better at SC2. As far as mental development goes: 13 year olds are perfectly capable - you've learned Algebra by 13, why wouldn't you be able to play Starcraft? | ||
