Results from my poll indicate a strong desire for a weekly Protoss discussion event, I will work on this idea and keep you posted.
A little about myself: I'm 24, a college and university graduate, outside of SC 2 I enjoy: fitness & nutrition, MUSIC!, friends family and humor, and all sorts of science fiction.
I am a high level masters (rank 1 currently) Protoss player that has been obsessively trying to fine tune and polish both my understanding of Starcraft as well as my execution of that understanding. I have been practicing and playing SC since beta with relative success. Prior to the release of the Grand Masters League I have been on the top 200 consistently and have enjoyed playing against many known names in strategic competitive (virtual) combat.
I hope one day to become a featured stream on Team Liquid, and to obtain a partnership program with Twitch.TV, if you like my stream please support me via my social media links!
I have built a little tournament experience, but need much much more I would also like to join a serious team to help fund my gaming ambitions and better my skill level. While I am now streaming less frequently, I am still streaming!! So stick with me guys and gals

Regarding Coaching: Despite not streaming as often as originally intended I will continue to offer coaching, but I'm trying to schedule all coaching requests for Sundays. However, do not email me with 25 questions, if your interested in coaching from me it is as simple as agreeing on a time and taking it from there. Do not expect me to deliver extensive theory, strategy or advice via email - that is what lessons are for after all.
New: Health & Fitness Coaching: Its no big secret a large percentage of serious gamers are noobs at fitness, and nutrition. I advocate for healthy living, as a gamer being physically fit, consuming the right healthful fuel (foods) will keep your body and brain sharp, apt, one might say even ...dare I say...bulletproof? This is a new concept I am considering based on feedback and interest - (I am certified in fitness Basic Theory, Individual Conditioning consulting and finally as a Personal Fitness Trainer.) You're a fun one to watch! Great macro and micro, fun and interesting games always keep my attention. I like how you are available on multiple sites and the TENATIVE schedule is a cool thing to provide to us viewers so that we know what is in store for the day.
I look forward to watching you whenever you're available.
Great stream. Good quality, streamer is really willing to talk to streamers and has some cool plans for his stream. Really like the organization and effort that goes into it.
Once again I am impressed! I arrived home from the bar and wanted to watch some decent streams before I went to sleep, didn't care for any of the featured, so I looked up yours and you were destroying some kids in 2v2. Keep it up man!
Good guy from what I've seen, I like watching from the perspective of someone better than me, rather than just watching a replay. I could list a lot of stream vs replay comparisons, but suffice it to say I very much enjoy and appreciate you streaming. High quality in terms of both quality and game, and well mannered as well. =)
@ ZenViper : absolutely! I will be streaming free lessons for viewers on wednesday's starting this week - I'm sure they will be beneficial in your objective to break platinum! mostly macro mechanics at palt level, some simple rules can go a long way! Thanks for watching
Love the stream, really well mannerd in the chat and your etiquette. Loved your domination in a 2v1 against >) Will definately be following and learning as much as i can. Keep it up. O also the stream is in very good quality, both skill and picture.
Once again, thanks for inviting me to play some 2's with you! I know I am no where close to as good as you, but its fun to learn while playing with you, even if you have to 2v1 them
I can vouch for this guy. Hes very nice and down to earth, I really enjoy watching his stream. He offers great analysis on 1v1 and 2v2 games that have helped me understand the game. If anyone is looking for great execution and army control I really suggest you check out this stream. -Corpsefly
very nice stream, really you have a nice casting voice and of course you are a good player. I am really looking forward to see this channel being featured on TL!
keep in mind to not turn the game sound to high because people will get problems listening to your commentary and that can be annoying! the setup you used today was fine.
Woah, I am blown away by your dedication and talent with playing Protoss. You have so much skill and are very entertaining to watch. Love your stream quality, music and the fact that you've added a mic. Definitely following your stream on a daily basis....Awesome work!
Really enjoying the stream, even more now that you have a mic set up. VERY good player, great understanding of the game, calm, collected atiitue and really enjoys helping other by talking through his thought processes, not just what they see, but what he is thinking and most importantly, WHY. thanks Bullet, will really keep following, cant wait for you to get featured ^^
one of the best streams around instead of just trash-talking or talking about what he sees he really explains what he thinks, in which position he thinks he is, what he plans to do, just everything you need to know

Has it ever occurred to you that he has friends and that they signed up on this to help show support for him? Stop being a moron.
I spent about 2 hours last night watching this guy. I learnt a lot, it was emensly interesting and engaging. Easily one of my favourite streamers and I will be watching him in the future.
@Kyruel - I made this acount to praise this guy, simply because he deservse it. You don't have to be on TeamLiquid to find a stream on JustinTV. Maybe you should watch the stream before you accuse the owner of making fake acounts to promote.
Anyway, keep playing Bullet! Already loving the content
Hey Got a account for Sheth, but he is not always streaming so its great to have a caster who also plays protoss, because I always play protoss. Its easy to listen to you, and pretty good analysis (if you write it that way xD). Keep it up, hopefully you get more followers!
still loving the stream mate, cant wait for you to play with extrovert again haha, his wise and brilliant tactics really help us learn but seriously, thanks for the gameplay breakdowns and not jsut showing when you win, but letting us learn from theloses as well.
I often check in on any and all protoss streams. This by far is the most useful for me as a low level player learning new protoss strategies. After games he walked through the replay and explained everything that a newbie like me wants to know.
James, can you post your Bulletproof email on here? I thought I saw one that you made strictly for this while you were streaming. It would be useful for me when I send you files, as well as if people want to send you replays.
yeah i enjoy your stream for a while now and learn allot its like white ra but better to understand don t knoiw why you explain better than he ism doing ^^ thats great and help out allot
My account is over a year old, I just post very rarely. Most of my other posts are on day9's thread.
Edit: a lot of people probably register to compliment him because he will play with viewers, and also he shows this thread a lot between games. After playing with him you feel very obliged to post and follow. His stream is just awesome.
Thanks for playing with me yesterday and the great commentary going on today.
As someone that has watched many a stream, I can honestly say that your commentary is great in game. It's nice to know what you're thinking and why you make the decisions you make.

Divito, go watch the stream for yourself. Posts like that only show how much of a douche you are.

Don't imply accusations like that, take 30 seconds to look through their account creation dates and you'll see that they are all vastly different. Maybe he really IS doing a good job?
Anyways, I'll definitely have to check this out sometime even though I am not a protoss player myself. I've been seeing your name in the top 200 since beta and you seem to be getting a lot of good reviews, so I'm sure its very good =)

Hey gusy if you have checked my thread today wondering why I'm not streaming I have had a plethroa of technical difficulties, I hope to be on soon - mouse malfunctions (now corrected) and now xsplit seems to lokc up on launch "program not responding" error message from windows.. lemme know if you have any tips - I have uninstalled and reinstalled without any luck :/
Sorry for the delay! Also, I have made a new schedule and am super excited to share the template with you guys!!! Thanks for your patience!
Tuned into the stream today for about half and hour or so to see what all the fuss was about.
It wasn't bad by any means, but I don't really see what makes it unique verses the Protoss streams like Minigun. Granted, there are less featured Protoss streams, but I think it has to do with the person behind the keyboard, as well as race styles.
If the play isn't going to be unique or just incredibly crisp, I don't see the point in favoring this stream, also, the player behind the keyboard isn't a personality in the community, such as if you watch IdrA's stream you get incredible mechanics, but there's always the fun risk of some trash talk between IdrA and his opponent.
I'm not saying this is a bad stream, or the player is garbage and no one likes him, just saying if you're wanting to get a partnership with Justin.TV and stream for a moderate income like a Destiny, you need to do something to set yourself apart.
I only write such a long babbling because this was always something that I wanted to do and never had the computer/determination to do it.
@ Ryo Hazuki - Thank you for your feedback. I understand the setiment of your post, however I think many of my early viewers will vouche for me in saying that typically my stream is informative, friendly and original. I do my best to commentate while in the majority of games, yesterday was a bit of an exception and from time to time there will be sessions where I am not talkin while laddering.
However, having said that I do talk often - in game and particularily following the game. Whether that be replay analysis or addressing some questions / comments in the chat or just rambling about my general feelings at that time. There are many times that I have tuned in to featured streams with dead silence which I interprut to be downtime for the streamer or perhaps a period of time that requires enhanced focus from that player. I.e playing a player like combat ex where you want to win over anything else (lol).
Most high level players will agree that talking during a game can be difficult, I am working on this and trying to find a happy medium between focus and commentary/sharing my thought process. While this may distract me from the game at times, I have had lots of positive feedback regarding that specific component of my stream and therfore will continue to exert effort in doing so.
I hope you refer to my schedule and get to know the player behind the keyboard, I am confident that if you are a protoss player you will benefit from watching my stream or at the very least find some entertainment.
Thank you again for your post, and feel free to tune in and converse with me via chat at any time during my stream

One main difference between Bulletproof and big name players is that he isn't so popular that he ignores everyone. He gives free lessons and will frequently let viewers join him in matches. That kind of interaction makes a big difference in my book and I'm sure many other viewers would agree.
Informative for noobs and high level players, very insightful and well mannered. Definitely better than a lot of the featured streams, commentates more frequently in game and interacts with viewers. Also, he explains his actions so they're easy to understand.
Great stream! Been watching all day. Im just a P in gold and I've learned alot today I realy like when you explain why you are doing a certain build against certain matchups and maps! Keep on streaming!!1
Great stream, just started watching. This is exactly the type of stream I enjoy. Glad to see another good toss who commentates streaming. Keep it up :D
It was really cool to watch you climb the ladder again today. Keeping 50+ viewers almost all day is quite impressive and increasing your followers 60% in one day is huge!
Keep up the good work, I look forward to watching your lessons tomorrow!
Bullet just looked over one of my replays. Gave some really awesome advice and tips which were really helpful, he just keeps getting better and better!!
Qualified for a league for the first time last night. Played 2v2 ended up placing 2nd in gold. Your stream helped alot going from zero experience to there.
looking forward to the lessons tonight. stream is excellent quality and the content is equally great. You help alot of Starcraft folks tighten up their game and become better players. good job.
I began watching Bulletproof's stream a week or so ago when he was a streamer with few followers- in fact, I remember quite well being the 50th follower on his stream; quite a milestone for him at the time. However he's currently growing at a rapid rate, at 135 followers already [as of this writing], many of whom tune in on a daily basis. His stream is professional and the content remains honest and informative. He's a mature individual and I would recommend a tune-in from anybody who enjoys a good game of high level StarCraft II.
However, on the the point of this post: I recently purchased 2 hours of lessons from James. This man, to be blunt: is a godsend.
Initially, I was a bit apprehensive about his scheduling, as I have a very tight schedule myself and it typically conflicts with most people's times however Bulletproof accommodated me perfectly, deviating from his schedule to allow me to participate, which was a very friendly gesture. He himself is good natured, and easy to get along with, and has a very helpful personality and keen eye: he began picking my faults out immediately and let me know after the game exactly what I should work on. He was specific and accurate in his targeting of my core flaws, and gave me simple, easy-to-use solutions without being condescending. He also identified the smaller problems with my game, or his 'nitpicks,' which although aren't going to lose me games in my current league, would give me some tips at things to refine in the future, and I believe wholeheartedly that that is the key to a strong instructor: reacting and correcting, and preparing carefully for the future.
The lessons moved at a pace that was quick enough to encompass a great amount of material [learning two complete builds to near-exact precision, mid-game concepts, small fine-tuning of mechanics, identifying my strengths and weaknesses, learning the niche of Protoss [ie. abusing geography, different mindsets for different match-ups], and various other details that would bring my play to a whole new level.
And let me tell you, it goddamn did. I was a Platinum level Zerg, who switched to Protoss and had a broken grasp of the mechanics, faring poorly and even getting demoted after a few games: it put me on tilt and discouraged me from playing, since most of my opponents were top Gold and mid/top Platinum, my half-hold on the ideals of Protoss was losing me games. I was considering giving up. The two quick hours I spent with Bulletproof, working on my game, I've since laddered [as of this writing] several times, having an approximately 80% win-rate, whereas most of my opponents were in the top 16 of their respective platinum leagues, and I expect to see a promotion to Platinum, and soon after, Diamond league with my newfound knowledge.
The lessons are relatively inexpensive: $25/hour, $20/hour for more than one, so if you're a Protoss of any level with a few extra dollars to spare and a burning desire to achieve that next level of play: give this guy a try. It worked for me, it could work for you!
Caleb, thank you for putting so much time and effort into leaving such a flattering comment. I'm very happy that the lessons are allready paying off for you two fold, and truly appreciate the stellar reference.
Awesome stream! When I can't play at work I tune in to the stream. I just got back into the game and I can say just watching Bullet's stream I have improved alot. In BW I used to be B level Protoss but that was years ago, its nerve racking to end up in such a low teir that and having to force myself to forget everything from SC1 lol.
I had a question if you don't mind my asking.
What build orders should every protoss know? Example, the bread and butter of protoss. Like the 1 gate robo, 3 gate expand, and the 4 gate builds.
Also, I have really great games at times. I am ranked silver at the moment but I can even beat platinum players on occasion. However there are times when I have major brain farts and forget even basic things. Do you have any tips on preventing cranial flatulence?
And btw thanks for the awesome stream and helping out the community the way you do. If I get to a higher level where its worth taking some lessons I will go to you for sure!
Hello there! I have a question that hasn't really been answered by anyone as everyone has their own opinion. I was wondering which race is best to play if you like to build a huge army and expand a bunch I've heard that terran is good for this, but i am interested in your opinion. Thanks!
youre quickly becoming my favourite streamer to watch :D keep up the good work and the amount you stream buddy id love to see you in GM, like your mate SCDPride <3
I feel sorry for all of the people who pass over this thread, because the quality of your stream surpasses any that I've seen before. I'm sure that if you keep having fun with what you are doing, you will eventually grow into not only a popular channel, but a better SC2 player, too.
And it's a shame that it's so hard to get the word out about something like a new stream, because I can guarantee you that if 5000 random SC2 players watched 5 minutes of your stream, you would have 5000 more followers.
Yesterday's replay analysis was great! being able to break down the problems that everyone was having with certain match-ups was awesome! You got lucky when you stopped my 5 rax
i was gonna ask this on your stream but its a huge question :D
PvT my worst MU atm. can you explain your build early game? like why you 9 pylon and 12 gate and not say 13 gate with 2 chrono on probes and scout on 13?
I dunno which is better but ive been told if you scout on 13, you can queue up 14 probes, use 2 chrono, throw the gate down on 13 and not have to cut probes?
its more economic vs terran, but it does mean you'll get to scout later, so could be bad if hes walled off or something. But if you scout on 9 and get to his base early, your probe is just gonna sit there and wait
sorry if thats confusing lol i worded it really badly :D
EDIT now you just did a strange variation on XNC that ive never seen before.....
can you just explain what builds you use on which maps and why :D
Hey its starcraftprogress in sent u an email with a replay but i wasnt able to be here yesterday so is the any way maybe u could analyze it today ♥ I shall love u forever ♥ lol Also Keep On streamin!
its me jeffosho hello all. greetings and good bye for now cya you on your stream, your a good man good good man good good man with a good good protoss friend -jeffosho
ReaperX glad to have you on board! @ Laurence hopefully I can become featured soon - less searching for you guys!
@ FlimBoT : I try to make my stream as educational as possible, if your looking for "free lessons" then be sure to tune in to the lessons that I stream!!
Just had to register and say that this stream is a goldmine, dude is entertaining, has great music and great play, and actually explains what he's thinking. I've learned a ton, so thanks for streaming bullet! hope you get more viewers
Any particular reason you don't archive your streams? I was fortunate to get to watch a few minutes this afternoon and it looks like it would be a great resource for the community, but the nonstandard times (2-6 EST) make it hard--if not impossible--for those of us who have jobs to tune in. Allowing us older players to watch the streams at night after work might go a long way towards increasing your followers and viewership. Just an idea.
Good stuff regardless. Keep it up.\
EDIT: Actually maybe you already do this and my Justin.tv is just messed up. When I go to my "home" on justin.tv I see there are several past sessions of yours but when I click on them, nothing happens...weird. Also, when I go to your page while it's streaming, I don't see the past videos in the bottom of your channel. As mentioned above, I'm old (think green screen Oregon Trail) so I could be doing something wrong.
This is a fantastic I dare say new thing in the SC 2 community. Bulletproof is a great player who engages his entire audience constantly on his stream. His live stream page is a great environment for learning and general development of the SC 2 community. Look for this channel to become very popular. And for the name Bulletproof to be heard a lot more in the near future.
Hey guys, for those of you who didin't know - I was visiting my hometown and family for the long Canada day weekend! It was tons of fun and if you were left in the dark then follow me on twitter @ http://twitter.com/bulletprooftv
During the weekend my brother and I spent some time recreating my Justin TV/Twitch, my Well played.org and a little work on my youtube!
I will be streaming within the hour (11:00 a.m EST) today!! I look forward to it, and you should too!
I'm gold and I don't play too much but I was messing around with my friend and I was trying the following build: 9 supply 12 rax 13 gas Make one marine.(since I don't know the supply I make the marine at) Orbital when racks finishes.(Look up one line and use common sense.) After that marine a tech lab. 17 supply After that basically one more racks then a ghost academy. On the second racks a reactor. Then get the energy upgrade for the Ghosts. On the first racks I make constant Ghosts and the second, marines of course. Then make a third racks and put a tech lab on that one. Constant Ghost production out of that one. I was able to constantly make them and a little more when my macro was doing well. I'm not very good so I was wondering if A( would this be an all-in or could you expand off of this? B( Could this be viable for a mass ghost/marine build? It's pretty good and even if the enemy goes for mech or something like that you would be able to switch to marauders or go into factory or air pretty easily. At some point I should probably expand but that's why I asked question A. Any feedback would be awesome.
I've been following this stream for a a few days now and so far I'm really excited about it. Bulletproof is a high level player who not only plays at a high level, he is willing to share his knowledge of the game as well as improve his own. The entire atmosphere in his stream is of game skill development.
He always interacts with the viewers, stopping after every game to answer some questions. In this stream new players can greatly benefit from watching a high level player, as well as the fact that he takes the time to explain everything that's is going on.
He also offers lessons which (having received a couple) I can say are great. Really well structured with anything from general game sense, basic concepts like maintaining macro and effective micro to perfecting build timings. He will sit in and spectate on games as well as play against you in order to nitpick strengths weaknesses and where improvement can be made. Through skype and being in the games with you he is a very effective teacher. I definitely recommend lessons from him if you are looking to improve your game. If not just enjoy his stream, like I said it's a wicked place to enjoy good SC 2 and grow as a player.

Bullet plays toss, youre best off asking this in the stratergy bit or something
sucks you had a pretty bad run today, everyone hits slumps. Cant wait to see you in GM next season. Out of curiosity do you think you'll stream your first game of season 3?
When he first started, I was trying to give him streaming tips and such, I didn't think he'd get this far =P. He's progressed into a great player/streamer and should be checked out if you love starcraft 2.
come on guys, BulletProof needs the attention he deserves. He beats top pros (Ret, Slush, Destiny) and deserves a GM spot and to be featured here on TL. Go visit his stream and follow, you'll like what you see :D
Started watching Bulletproof about 1 month ago I think, and have been hooked since day 1! As a player he has be improving even while on vacation (shout out to your brother for the amazing background, and graphics) and sets goals to keep himself motivated! Keep going you are GSL bound soon!!!! As a couch he has an understanding of all races, good about finding your weaknesses and strengths, cheerful to help you improve and knowledgeable about how to give you tips and ways to better yourself. With the great stream, great personality and want to help the Starcraft 2 community grow in such great ways, Bulletproof will be a big name in the future and how cool does LiquidBulletproof sound. Thank you for your streams!! KEEP IT UP and you will have the community behind you in your future tournaments! Shout out to BigBert and Hoy! -Alaric
I've been watching Bulletproof since he made this stream and I must say he's got a great understanding of this game and the way he explains his thought process has been very beneficial to my gameplay. I've been watching SC2 streams pretty consistently since beta, and Bulletproof has been the most beneficial streamer I've seen. Anyways, thanks for all the hard work. I hope to see you in tournaments soon.
I've been watching you since a little bit before 140 followers and your stream has helped me so much! the only thing is is that lately when ive been tuning in all there is is music and i dont know why!! can you tell me why this is?
I will psot replay packs when I learn how to! But likely in the near future, and I usually play with my mic on but on occasion I enjoy just lsitening to music while playing!
Amazing stream, great skill and amazing commentary, really helps my play get a lot better ! he talks you through what build he is gonna do and how to stay alive. Deserves 100x more followers ! keep it up,
BulletProof FTW, this guy is very fun to watch and a very mannered adult. wich it seems it hard to fine these days.
His insight to the game is clear and easy to grab hold of. Hes a very good player and I thank him everytime I see him streaming! More people like him is what this community needs. keep it up bulletproof!!!!!!
Been forced to survey the non-featured streams lately to get decent commentated protoss play, and this is one of the better ones I've found. Nice guy, great commentary, and really goes out of his way to engage with the chat to prove/disprove/explore strategies.
Hey m8, if u need some more mods feel free to contact me. I live in sweden so when its very l8 for u its not that l8 for me so its a good combo. I dont know if i should post my email here? Or is it cool?
In the year of our Lord (FSM) two thousand and eleven, magic happened. Few events in time have rarely had an impact on the universe such as this fine young gentlemans stream. The Big Bang, formation of the first proteins to create life, the age of Montel Williams, all pale in comparison to the gaming billiance, no!, perfection that is BulletProof TV. One day I will be among the proud few that will be able to tell thier great great grandchildren, "It was I, Twiggo, to be a part of a close knit group of advanced lifeforms to gaze upon such treasures first hand." May God look down upon you, smile and say "You are my most wonderous creation." I am in debt to you sir. Good hunting and FFS MAKE HIM A FEATURED STREAM!.
NO! I wont be there. Is there a way I can see a taping of said episode, or can you hold off till the evening stream to say it? I Have to work during the day but I will have the evening off.
Most well mannered and talented player I have seen in awhile. Constantly critiques during all of his games in entirety. Being able to talk in depth about his play while he is actually playing is one of the reasons it is one of my favorite streams. He also is a terrific coach and I highly recommend lessons from him. Make sure you check the stream out!
This guy is awesome to those that watch him. He has provides great interaction to with those who watch him, and he represents the SC-2 community well. He would be a valuable asset to the TL featured stream list. I can not say enough good things about this guy!
Fun, awesome tactics, great commentary and a very friendly caster. Recently I caught one of his lessons and am DEFINITELY going to be getting my own here very soon ;3 Amazing player and awesome guy. Come watch! :D
bulletproofsc2...where do i start. this man is freaking amazing. i cant ask for better. i love the style he plays i love the race he chose hes real talented and i like that he can tlk to u and play at same time. by far my favorite stream and i can watch u all day destroy kids and ill still b amazing keep it up and im a follower :D
Hey guys I will be streaming a little later in the afternoon today - between 2:30 - and 3:00 p.m. My infrequent yet reoccuring isomnia has prevented me from getting a good night's sleep!
One of the most professional, insightful, and informative streamers I've found to date. Definitely deserving of becoming a Featured stream. With the quality of his transmission, commentary, advice, and his general willingness to help out his viewership, I'll definitely be pointing anyone who asks his way. -Fushinokage on Justin.tv
Just have to say this gentleman has re-ignited my desire to learn and be the best I can be at SC2. Definitely deserves to be a featured stream here. Thanks again for all your help Bullett!
I have been following this stream for a while and i can honostly say that i have learned a lot from both bullet and the community he has created.
Bullet plays very smoothly allow viewers to follow his actions easily as well he constantly commentates his match giving viewers an inside look into his thought process as it happens live. He spends the time in between matches conversing with his viewers giving a connection with the person behind the mic. Even though he is a toss player, bullet will often give advice on other races too. And if bullet doesn't get to a question, the chat will be more than happy to help you.
Sometiems it is not only about the streamer, but the people that watch him too. Sometimes during matches bullet does something i won't get, and i post in the chat asking wat he did. Within seconds people will give an explanation.
I don't remeber if when you registered for TL that you can say who refered you to the site. If it does then Bullet proablly would have over 100 ppl referrers. He has helped several players overcome their ladder fear and brought them out of lurking.
But not everything is good news im afraid; as he is a toss player, his bias does come up quite a bit. Although he is very mild manner and does not rage often, he does let this slide a bit. He is also macros quite a bit for a toss player. His upgrading skills could also use work . Don't ever expect anything from PVP.
Regardless of all bad things about bullet, the good out ways the bad by a huge margin. If you want to learn, you can watch him. If you want to watch some good ladder matches, you can also watch him. He has put a lot of effort into this stream and it clearly shows.
Ok, I just watched an absolutely AWESOME game between BulletProof and ROOTDestiny, BulletProof won, this guy absolutely needs to be one of the featured streams, not doing so would be an injustice to both Team Liquid and the StarCraft community as a whole!
Hey man, could you stream in lower res as well, i mean for the sake of downloading your streams.. with the current 720p format the file size is like 1GB and takes forever to download. Just a suggestion! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
Back streaming today between 11:00 - 11:30 - Madbanana I have no power over the resolution options, that will come as my viewership grows or so I've been told - otherwise I would had made such options available earlier as it is a fairly common request!
Hopefully this will become an option sooner then later!
Hey Bullet! It was awesome talking about infestors and getting your opinions about it. Glad I could help ya out. I'm a follower on twitter and jtv. You'll be seeing me around a lot and hope to mod your stream! Your Q&A session is boss
Been watching you for a few days very entertaining and interactive with your viewers. You really should have more viewers for your personality and skill alone. Thanks for streaming and keep it up!
Hey man! How bout playing with the audience once in a while? Something like TL-Attack or just randomly pick followers for team games.. Would be really fun :D
I just wanted to say thanks a bunch for your stream! I find it very comparable to Trump's stream but for Protoss! Very insightful comments and interaction with your viewers is great! Keep up the good work & I hope you get featured soon.
Hey there, if you would stream in LQ too i would watch your stream too.. as now i can't watch without spikes and lagging at your actual stream.. i find your2v2 ver yinteresting and wanna learn from it, but for me it isnt fun when video lags think about it :D
edit: yah i still was watching, and im sry that i didnt know that you don't have the power over that.. didnt know that it is just possible for the "popular" streams.. and still watching even tho there where some lags^^ great games!
Been following Bullet for about a month now (was the 51st or 52nd follower) and I'd say overall his stream is pretty good, depending on what you're looking for.
Positives: -Super interactive with the watchers. He's constantly checking chat, answering questions, and generally fairly responsive to his audience. The one caveat is that sometimes (recently it's been more regularly) he just plays with his mic off while listening to music. When that happens, he's normally just spamming games, so don't expect him to chat much. Usually though, near the end of the mass laddering, he turns his mic on to go over any strats, questions, etc
-REALLY nice (or at least he tries to be). He's pretty much diametrically opposite to the Destiny type streams (although I think Destiny gets a bad rap as his stream is usually very informative and congenial). Regardless, Bullet is--usually--very manner (unless he's losing in PvP), so if that's your thing, rock on.
-Structured. Although as of late he hasn't been sticking to his schedule too much, he still streams A TON, so you'll almost always be able to catch him for a few hours each day. That kind of consistency is nice if you're using his advice to implement new strats and they don't work out for you, since you can just come back the next day and ask him what went wrong.
-Helpful. Not sure if he still does this, but early on he was offering to do free replay analysis for anyone (with the suggestive quid pro quo that you find him 5 followers in return). So, again, having a high caliber master player comment on your play for free is a pretty cool thing if you need that assistance.
-Macro focused. Since most of the new players struggle with macroing, this is a great stream to watch as Bullet, even as Protoss, usually has 3 bases by the 10 minute mark. He's a beast at macroing (to a fault) so spending time watching those principles and mechanics in action can be greatly beneficial.
Negatives: -His PvP is terrible; rather, I mean it's Charles Barkley "turrible." He hates the matchup (which with the frequency that he's constantly reminding the viewer of such starts to sound more like an excuse for his inability to a) 4 gate or b) micro as well as his opponents). So, if you're looking for PvP tips, I wouldn't go here as he normally just cannon rushes (I'd say 85% of the time) and if you want to learn how to cannon rush, you're better off watching CombatEX replays or vids since he's pretty much the veritable wizard when it comes to all things Cannon related. Also, as bad as the matchup is (and it is terrible), his struggles with 4 gating are the real reason he's underperforming. If both players 4 gate, the loser is the worse player of that game, end of story. It might seem harsh that a misclick will lose you the game, but that's not a matchup problem, that's a control, micro, macro, etc problem of the losing player. ZvZ can be the same way. Mirror matchups just put a lot of pressure on the player to not make a mistake. They also force to the foreground a player's deficiencies. To be sure, there is a coin flippy aspect regarding what tech path you go, but that's not the reason he's losing his PvPs.
-After a few losses, he can get kind of whiny and bitchy about "balance." I've literally heard him rail on and on about Terran's Bunkers and Zerg's Infestors for over an hour, multiple times. The best thing you can do when the topic turns to that is just go get a drink, go to the bathroom, check CNN, and wait it out. I promise, it will eventually subside.
-Close Position Crying. This is possibly the worst aspect, as anytime, in any matchup where there's close position, he starts to lose his cool. Invariably that attributes to him losing lots of close position games which then leads to another hour long tirade against close positions and how all people with 1 base play are terrible. Corollary to the above, his macro play, which is usually an asset, becomes his downfall in these situations. So, don't watch him to learn how to play close positions matches, because regardless of what the other player is doing, he's going to play standard. Again, playing standard is the best thing you can do if you're not a high caliber player, but at times (and until you know when those times are it's best to play standard) the smarter play is to one base--at least initiall-yourself.
Neither Positive nor Negative:
-He's super passive. I don't think this in itself is a bad thing, as establishing your economy, positioning your army to receive the aggressor, and capitalizing on your late game superiority are all viable ways to play the game. But, for the viewer who's looking for a super aggressive style (read: Korean), this isn't the stream for you. Bullet, like Idra, is much more comfortable in a 54 minute game than hitting early/mid game timing pushes. This is not to say that sometimes he doesn't play a bit more aggressive, but the usual is for both he and his opponent to end up with 3-6 bases (assuming the opponent isn't a 1-basing Terran, if such a thing exists).
@Walterin- Lessons are $25/hr or $40 for 2 hours. Email him at Bulletproofsc2@gmail.com for scheduling and letting him know how he can help you.
@Madbanana- He does do viewer games, at least once a week or so. The only reason he doesn't do it more is that he likes to teach his 1v1 strategy. Team games are a lot more face paced and depend on the initial rush. It also has to do with what his viewers are wanting to see. When we have done team games in the past, usually only 6-7 people want to jump in and play while there are 50+ viewers. Anyway, keep hanging in chat and you might get a chance to jump in some games :D
Hey Bullet! You're awesome, you're stream is great and I can't wait for your lesson this week keep up the good work, hope you get featured on liquid soon!
Bullet! Maybe include a title of what you're streaming of after the livestream is off.. For the archive viewers. Like if you're doing ladder or lessons or analysis.. Would be greattt! :DDDDD Thanks a ton for your commitment!!
Bullet is really awesome! He talks a lot and interacts with the chat all the time, explaining his thought process. He streams lessons for those of us who can't afford them as well, basically providing a great service to the community. The music is great too!
...listening to Bullet comment on my above post and apparently this thread is only for fanboism, meh. Disappointed in Bullet now.
If my above criticisms were too harsh, then I apologize. However, I don't think they're wildly exaggerated as I'm pretty sure I've watched Bullet play more than 99% of the rest of his viewers, which is indicative of how I value his stream. However, my criticism wasn't so much meant to be constructive for Bullet but informative for potential viewers.
Reading Lexiconman's comments has got me to thinking about what he said. While agree with a few things mentioned in his post some of his comments are way off base.
Being a follower of Bullet and a few other streamers over the past 6 weeks I have found people with somewhat different angles for streaming. Bullet by far has the most diverseness and pleasant stream to watch. Watching his stream makes me feel like I am a student observing his teachers every move.
Bullet takes the time to talk through most of his streams with the sometimes all too few exceptions where he plays music and concentrates on his games in order to get back on top with little distraction. I have seen Bullet lose because he is more focused on sharing the experience with his audience and talking that he makes little mistakes or try's new things that cost him the game.
Bullet often shares his opinions on such things as close positions, infestor's, bunker cheese. These discussions add a unique aspect to watching Bullet as you can learn as much about the technical workings of other races as you can about his favorite Protoss.
Bullet does indeed struggle in matches when it comes to PvP and I applaud him as he both recognizes this and is constantly trying new builds (avoiding the usual 4gate) which although usually brings him to a loss more often then not.. I find this entertaining and advantageous (cause i know what not to do!!) Thanks Bullet!! lol. He does often complain about PvP but hell who doesn't and I find it entertaining as he is just venting but never stops trying.
Cannon rush Against PvP... Hilarious!!! Absolutely... he does this only a small percentage of the time and it doesn't always work but it is funny to see him get out of the match quit... come on who hasn' t fallen to a well placed cannon rush.
Losing... does he get upset... does it get to him.... Hell if it didn't i would think he was a fake! Who likes losing all the time!! (He is still rank 1 Masters!!!) if you can do better i am sure he is waiting to show you different!
Overall I would say that bullet is the best one to watch on the stream's He is informative, entertaining and I enjoy his stream so much I hope to one day shake his hand and thank him for improving my game at no cost to me but expense to him. I am looking forward to taking lessons from him and having him help improve my game further.
So in short BEST Streamer, if you not watching him you should, if your not following him you should, if your a hater, keep on hating you are after all entitled to your opinion... even if it is wrong...
and if you are looking for a streamer that is more like a friend taking you on his journey to pro sports rather than someone telling you how you should play the game Bullet is the one to watch.

Thanks. Since I was the first to take the time to offer comprehensive feedback and analysis of the stream, it's good to know I got a few things right.
Bullet takes the time to talk through most of his streams with the sometimes all too few exceptions where he plays music and concentrates on his games in order to get back on top with little distraction.
I agree and mentioned this in my Positives section.
Bullet often shares his opinions on such things as close positions, infestor's, bunker cheese. These discussions add a unique aspect to watching Bullet as you can learn as much about the technical workings of other races as you can about his favorite Protoss.
I have no problem with sharing opinions, but I don't think they really add a unique aspect to the game (but again, that's just my opinion). I could go find the specific times where he goes off about bunkers, etc, but it's not really worth it. It will happen again, and that's fine. I understand that many people don't mind it, so then my critique won't bother them or prevent them from tuning in. To the people who can't stand to hear--what I perceive to be--whining about imbalance (which is EXACTLY what he did with regards to bunkers), they were put on notice.
Bullet does indeed struggle in matches when it comes to PvP and I applaud him as he both recognizes this and is constantly trying new builds (avoiding the usual 4gate) which although usually brings him to a loss more often then not.
Ya, I guess this is a better way of framing what I tried to convey to potential viewers. I should have spent more time noting that he loses more often than not because of trying different builds. Good catch there. I've only been playing a few months so I'm not sick of watching perfect 4-gates and the micro decisions that have to be made to succeed in a 4-gate vs. 4-gate, but I understand how many viewers might be sick of watching this so you're right. If you're wanting to watch different--ultimately unsuccessful--PvP builds, then you won't be disappointed.
Cannon rush Against PvP... Hilarious!!! Absolutely... he does this only a small percentage of the time and it doesn't always work but it is funny to see him get out of the match quit... come on who hasn' t fallen to a well placed cannon rush.
I agree, it is hilarious and usually ends up in some really interesting games, but that doesn't change the fact that it happens a lot (less since my original post) and if you were to look in the archive, I'm sure if would be closer to 75% than a "small percentage."
So in short BEST Streamer, if you not watching him you should, if your not following him you should, if your a hater, keep on hating you are after all entitled to your opinion... even if it is wrong...
I agree, at least probably best Protoss stream on currently, but that doesn't mean I shouldn't give an unbiased critique of the stream for others. And giving said critique doesn't make me a hater.
Bulletproof is nothing less than amazing. He is a top notch Protoss player who not only showcases his skill while steaming master ladder 1v1 games but he also commentates his thoughts throughout this games. Then, he always finds enough time to answer his viewer's questions before or after his ladder session. Personally, Bulletproof is one of the few streamers that I have learned more about Starcraft and that is why he is so cool.
Bullet really needs to be featured. High level play as well as great commentary whilst playing. Just randomly found this stream tonight and am learning a lot from bullet. Really needs to be known, best quality stream I've seen.
Bulletproof is my favorite caster to date. He streams most of his lessons, and it's very helpful if you happen to catch him teaching something you don't know how to do very well. He is also very good at answering questions people have for him in his stream chat, as well as his SC2 channel.
Want to add my support for Bulletproof as featured streamer. Good content, good player, and we are sorely lacking in frequent Protoss streamers as of late.
If you haven't gone to watch him yet - go do it. Well worth the time.
Love your stream so far Bulletproof! I've played the other races but I just don't feel them like I do with Protoss, could be I'm a technology fiend at heart. Only one thing though, the stream is freezing for 2 seconds or so for every 1 second that it plays fine, and that's around half the time. Sometimes it leans more toward 2 seconds of play to 1 second of freeze. It only does this while you're in game, and moreso when the screen in moving around. I've watched other streams on twitch just to check, and the other ones aren't lagging anywhere near like yours is. Love your games though and keep up the great work!
Pick Bulletproof for featured and many cute kittens will rain down on you!
Hi there BP, I send greetings from EU. Thanks for streaming. Very informative, especially when you do lessons. You should get more attention from other players.
Loving your stream Bulletproof, you are my go to stream for watching and learning great Protoss play. I have no doubt you will be featured in the near future, until then please keep doing what you are doing <3
Great stream. You're one of the very few higher level players that will actually talk while playing and analyze your play at the same time. I've learned a lot from watching you so far. I look forward to you getting featured so you can get more viewers! More (helpful) people, like you, need to get more recognition in the Starcraft 2 Streaming world. Thanks again for your stream!
so im not exactly sure where i should post but i just want to say that i never played starcraft one or two but i was interested so i watched a stream and it was yours and you got me hooked lol im going to get starcraft 2 later but your at the very least a great person and a pretty decent player lol i dont know enough about starcraft to feel comfortable calling you good but you look like your amazing from the little bit i know keep up the good work and hopefully you will get featured
You've gotten a new follower! Here's hoping you become featured sometime soon. Perhaps we'll get lucky enough to see some of your games get casted, please do tell us if that happens so we can go watch them.
Hope to see you featured soon, you deserve it with the really interesting and informative stream, keep up the great work, thanks to you ive gotten slightly better with protoss and you got me to join TL, catch you in stream .
Here to show some love for Bullet. Intelligent thought process's give a crystal clear understanding of his situational awareness. Enjoyable voice commentary, and thought process explanation combined with a great protoss stream is great to watch. Also interacts with viewers regularly in between games. There is a need for more engaging experienced protoss streamers, and if anyone is contemplating the experience I definitely recommend it.
Hey, just had a lesson with bullet. Worked on PvZ. Had him walk through an effective 3 gate expo build and how to defend against muta harass. Was very informative. He's a great teacher and can teach master down to bronze. He's very good at it. I highly recommend it if you have the time and money.
I commented not long ago, but after watching Bullet stream himself coaching some players, I have more input. He's a very involved instructor, often pausing to make sure his pupil understands the details of the lesson completely. The value of his lesson is much larger than its original cost, especially since the lesson is retrievable by anyone who visits his stream. I highly recommend using his services if you're looking for instruction, but even just watching his play or coaching of others affords you a lot of learning opportunities.
I've spent countless hours watching streams in the past few months now. I would list the 10-15 I tune in for, but this is about Bullet and not them. I honestly believe I found a gem when I stumbled upon Bullet's stream (a little over a month ago). Because unlike so many of the others... bullet's a player who plays at GM level, caters to his audience's questions and queries, discusses unit compositions, units and builds in a multitude of situations and most of all provides an enjoyable learning environment.
Something in particular that I've really come to respect bulletproof for - is the fact he is able to recognize where he went wrong in a match and explains concisely to the audience. Giving the audience insight into the match rather than an excuse for a game turned bad. Thus making each game a learning experience for the audience. I believe every other streamer I have tuned in for, wont bother or will simply give a 2 second "i lost cause i didn't have 'insert unit' " half-arsed excuse... which isn't interesting nor does it give the audience any insight into the game.
The above being said - I've found Bullet's streams enjoyable and inspiring. Definitely someone I'd choose to have lessons with - which is something I've never considered until watching his stream.
In terms of feedback: maybe something minor with your growing fanbase (similar to day9 in his subscriber monobattles). Such as grab 7 players from bullettv and have a 4v4, micro arena or something along those lines. I feel as a player myself that I would enjoy to play in a game with you and I'm probably not the only one (even if i were to go up against you and be completely stomped ) However, this is not a big concern - if you feel it would detract from your 1v1 gameplay/focus (which I completely understand how it might) then completely disregard this suggestion and continue the awesome work and I'm sure you'll be featured soon :-D
I've been watching your stream since right around the time you started streaming (I think you topped out at like 9 viewers the first day I watched.) It's been fun to see how much your viewership has grown because it seems so deserving. You're a good player who shows good manner almost all of the time, which is a nice contrast to some of the streamers out there.
The way you interact with your viewers and explain your thought process during/after the games is really helpful for aspiring protoss players. I'm obviously not much of a poster and i think i've only said like 3 things in your chat ever, but I did want to speak up to just say: keep doing what you're doing, it's been fun to watch. I hope you become a featured streamer soon.
@vizardire When he isn't giving lessons (during his alotted time for lessons) he will often do some fan 4v4's and stuff. Just be around during those times it's alot of fun!
Just received a lesson from Bulletproof the other day in PvP. Previous to our lesson, PvP was a nightmare for me. I was losing nearly 100% of my PvP games to better 4 gates and many other tactics. I just could not win and would even get very agitated as the match started.
After my lesson, not only do I now have the correct build order and timings, but also I know EXACTLY what to look for as I scout and several mid-game plans thanks to Bulletproof. The very next PvP I played (against a player ranked a good bit higher than myself in the plat league) I was able to destroy my opponent with relative ease!
In short: the lesson was amazing, informative and has taken my play to new levels. I will certainly be buying more lessons in the future!
Good stream, watch it all the time. Watch out for the ridiculously overzealous Moderators though (aka Codemuncher) as he acts like a 10 year old on a power trip and will ban people for anything. Other than that, the stream is excellent and informative, I just wish Bullet would pick better Mods
This stream has gained alot of followers in a short amount of time. I wonder if there is a reason TL? Oh yeah, its cuz he is awesome. from 600 to 850 in like a week and a half. Gj bullet, keep it up bro
I hired bullet for some training about a week ago. He's a good teacher but spent a little too much time watching my replay. He showed me a build order that I have been practicing and is working well!
Just had my second lesson with Bullet. Unfortunately it will be my last for a little while! I need a new comp before I can start to work on more advanced mechanics This lesson was a PvT and he gave me a great PvT build order and transition/scouting advice. Hope to work on it and get better so i can rollface some terrans as i'm starting to rollface zergs now after his lessons. I moved up 30 ranks in diamond and ive lost only 1 out 5 zerg matchups since his PvZ lesson. Needless to say, it's a great help and bullet is very knowledgable and personable. Looking forward to watching the stream and staying in contact. Hopefully I get a new comp soon so I can work on some adv mechanics with you keep up the good work!
Dear Bullet, If I may suggest, if your admins could highlight each stream if they have lessons or any EPIC matches would be KICKASS! :D Btw, keep up you great stream!
Bullet doesn't just blast music on his stream: he talks to his viewers, answers their questions, and provides commentary and feedback. He currently has the most constantly active and useful protoss stream on twitch.tv
Just wanted to give some love for Bullet. I've done a lesson with him and if was full of insightful information and things to watch out for. I love watching his stream as he is very interactive. Some of the other streams I've watched they just blast music and play. He also streams his lessons so its worthwhile just to watch what tips and things he gives everyone else.
Definitely a stream I will keep watching and thoroughly enjoying.
Due to an influx of complaints of overzealous moderators I will be removing all but 2-3 moderators for the time being, this will result in me checking chat more carefully and trying to best manage the chat. This seems pretty reasonable given the current viewer numbers.
NOTE: This does not mean that I am taking sides but making a choice that seems to be in the best interest of the stream growing! I am appreciative of all the help and support I have received and if your interest is in the growth of myself as a streamer I anticipate your continued support as a viewer <3
Want to become a moderator? You need to reflect similar values, boundaries and goals of mine - i.e "whats in the best interest of the stream" should always be the method of referencing your actions as a moderator.
If you were a moderator and no longer are do not bother trying to investigate my decision to de-mod as it is based on one of three things : 1) more then one complaint from viewers, 2) my personal observation of mod behavior or 3) simply removed due to too many mods or inconsistent viewership.
Most importantly these changes should not impact your interest in my stream, as moderators and viewers alike are equally valued in the chat!!
1- If you are posting a link, make it relevant to the conversation. If you are posting a link foreign to the current topic (i.e sharing a song, or humorous YouTube clip) please ask myself or a mod. If you are spamming irrelevant links then you will find yourselves timed out and then banned.
2- Bulletproof TV is meant to be a source of : learning, entertainment and strategy discussion. Having said that please do not condescendingly impose your ideas upon the streamer or other members of chat. In some circumstances SC2 has definite and rigid right and wrong scenarios but beyond opening build orders the game allows for creative strategy and game play. In a nut shell: you ARE allowed to discuss ideas, army compositions etc with the streamer as well as other players. You're NOT allowed to dictate what is right and wrong in a condescending manner. If this aspect is ignored then followed by a warning you will be banned.
3- Be respectful. Moderators don't abuse the ability to manipulate chat or your privileges will be revoked. Likewise if you are a viewer and your being blatantly rude or obnoxious you will be banned. I will not tolerate disrespectful dialogue and this notion should be self explanatory. So buckle up your in for a ride ! And as always, thanks for watching!!
In my opinion, if you want to improve your play as protoss, watch Bullet.
The guy streams daily, talks through his play, and answers fan questions between every game. I have nothing but respect for someone who spends their time doing what they love, and helping others in the process.
He is not a grandmaster. He is not a big tournament name. He is not a featured stream.
What he is, is a kind hearted person who loves to play starcraft, and loves to share his passion with others. People who are passionate about what they do always make the best teachers. He is always striving to better himself, and listens to others in chat, whether they be grandmasters or bronze players. That level of respect is something that is often lacking in the starcraft community.
So if you are a protoss player looking to improve your game, watch Bullet. Ask him questions. He will answer you. If you have "bad" ideas, he will be honest with you, and help you to improve.
If you are already a viewer, click follow. He spends a lot of his time streaming, and clicking the follow button is the best way you can give back. If you already clicked follow, tell your friends about the stream!
Until today, I was a frequent stream viewer and team liquid viewer, but had never signed up. I signed up today because Bullet has helped me through his stream, and I wanted to give back. If you are like me, an frequent observer but rarely participating, I encourage you to do the same. If you get benefit from any stream, click follow, the streamer will appreciate it.
My 2 cents of advice for Bullet: Drop the single g at the end of some games. Remember, that whatever your differences, the player on the other end is just like you, trying to have fun and improve. Everyone deserves your fullest respect, regardless of how they choose to play.
My 2 cents for Team Liquid: You may wish to reconsider your criteria for giving someone a featured stream. People like Bullet are out there, providing great streaming and struggling to increase their viewership. I know that his stream is a part of what brings me back to your site on a nearly daily basis, and helping others to discover it could only help to improve your site.
I really love this stream!! Bullet is a great player and a great coach. If you can't afford lessons, you get them for free just by tuning into his stream. Sure, he's not basing the information on YOU, but on the person he's coaching, but you still get a lot of useful information!
Most people who do this kind of streaming tend to be from the US, which usually means that people like me (from the EU) won't be up to watch, when the streams are live. I don't have this problem while watching bullet, as he usually begins at 2 pm which is about 8 pm for me. So I don't have to stay up till 4 am or something silly like that, like I do if I want to watch Day9 live.
Bullet just seems like a really nice guy, who loves the game. He loves sharing it with other people, and he takes his time answering questions, which again means that you can get a lot of really good information!
Sure, he rages a tiny bit from time to time... But that shows that he's human! He's like the rest of us. And from time to time, that leads to him analysing a game which he lost, which again gives you more information! what more can you ask for?!
The only bad thing is that I barely get to play now, as I spend all my time watching his stream! <3
i voted for webcam. But i think playing with viewers would be nice. I know you play to ladder and stuff, but maybe every so many games, or even just as the last game of a session if you picked someone randomly from chat to play maybe a 2v2 or just a 1v1 for fun or something that might be nice.
Or, asking what what stratergy do we wanna see? and then people can ask for certain builds like a SG opening or something. But from a mods point of view its pretty awesome, you always talking and taking loads of questions from chat is spot on
@thatguy he usually picks a day to do viewer games. usually on friday's he will do some monobattles or 4v4 or something like that. just be around, u will get in on one if ur hanging out in bullettv on sc2
bullet is helpful and answers questions every time he's done streaming.. explains what he's doing while he's doing it... ALWAYS reads chat even in b/w games.
Complete WIN!
If you're a P player regardless of lvl trying to get better... check it out scrubs.
Stream was defo worth my time. I learned a few protoss tips and on top of that he's really nice.. and he has strategy discussions after sessions with the crowd.
A note on my streaming: I have not been streaming every day as I've been looking for work, but I will continue to stream so please continue to watch and help me work towards my goals! Make sure you vote on the above pole to help determine what new elements to bring to my stream!
Oh man, tough company! This tourny will be good for you I think, earn your place so to speak. Good luck man. When is it? maybe post a schedule when you get one (for those without twitter)
I watch a crap ton of rts. I've been actively watching since wc3(my buds). Rts's have never been my cup of tea though. Love watching...never really played. My buddies got hooked to SC, but it wasn't until watching SC2 beta and beyond I felt compelled to try this genre. I'm usually an exclusive FPS player. I didn't buy and try the game until June this year...back story is boring I hope you skimmed through.
Only recently have I felt compelled to actually play. Currently my brain is filled with knowledge that I can not use. I've watched the best of the best streamers. I see what they do as they do it. For the most part it works. I can't imitate (emulate?) it in the slightest. When bullet casts he often says what he's doing as he does it....like a lot of casters...but at times he also verbally paints a picture of his intentions...FLUENTLY.
This being my first post, I know (from the prior posts) this makes me suspect. One gent pointed out that Bullet sometimes has rage for builds. Holy hell...BACK TO HELL WITH YOU BULLET DEMON. That...or name one person who streams and never griped about a unit...a build...a match...I couldn't name one.
My only gripe is that I did get banned from his channel. This was prior to his Mod cleaning apparently. I ASKED if I could link something. I got 15 minute timeout for asking. I became a dick after my 15 minute timeout for asking...I got banned.
That aside I can't express enough how different Bullet is from other casters. Bullet and others have shown me what I might be at my best. What sets Bullet aside is his external and internal evaluation...somehow the audience gets both as one. Rarely do you hear a streamer talk about their personal failures in detail. That intellect is always pointed at others. Bullet being the exception.
STOP REPLYING TO FUCKING TROLLS I highly doubt you actually think what they're saying is funny. If you do, you're still being a dick yourself because you're giving them basically a month's worth of food, which acts as fuel for them to troll other people. You've probably heard this thousands of fucking times, that's because it's true and for some reason you and so many other people don't realize it.
You say you're not giving a reaction, the fact that you read their names and comments and give them any attention whatsoever is what they want as a reaction. If you want to have any chance of not getting trolled on a huge scale in the future stop acknowledging their existence, right now you're only inviting more.
hey bullet nice meeting you, i have school during your streaming hours, so i cant be watching your stream anymore T.T gl in your sc2 work and life! hopefully we can meet one day -this is good bye yo!
Hey bud, I have been missing watching your stream like crazy!!! I really hope that your able to get back to doing it once or twice a week consistently.
you have no idea how long ive been looking for a protoss streamer who commentates. The first person i saw doing this was one of my favourite zergs Titan, the way he teaches when he ladders i feel like i could masterleague without even trying one game with them :p So just discovered you through google searching for "coaching protoss streams" and gonna load up all your vods and learn as quickly as possible :D
Respect to you for giving back to the community - will definitely spread the word about your awesome stream
Your stream lags so bad it is pretty well unwatchable. I very rarely tune in anymore because of it please please try to get it fixed.
Edit: LOL @ lashing out at your viewers in your chat because your having tech problems. You just chased off a long time viewer and follower because you went that route. So much for trying to "gain" viewers and followers I guess.
Went from barely beating mid-plats to stomping face against high plats and mid-diamonds after only 2 lessons. Coming back for more soon so get ready Bullet ;3
@ Pitaven: I encourage you to stream, sometimes viewers will log into chat say what they want and not expect a simple and honest response. As a streamer I have learned that it is simply impossible to please everyone. So try it I have exhausted all options and went to hell and back to get my stream running optimally again - this process has required numerous hours of invested time, time that is divided between many other real life events that should really take priority.
"Lashing out at viewers" You complained about a known quality issue that I was working on correcting at the time, when you complained I responded " If you'd rather I can turn the stream off " This comment was obviously misread by you as I meant that as "I can stream with poor quality currently, but I cannot fix the issue currently." Therefore what was meant was there are two options currently "1 - you suck it up and watch it the way it is or 2 - I turn the stream off."
That is it. I've watched many a streams in my day and if that's your idea of "lashing out" then good luck finding a better tempered streamer, because patience with viewers and rational, respectful and mature interaction with my viewers is something I take pride in.
But hey, if you don't agree with me ask the 400 trolls of Idra's that mass trash talked me following our ladder game.
And a final reminder, I make 0 revenue from streaming I share my SC experience for fun, education and as a resource for other players. Please refrain from slamming me as if I'm a Nazi zombie and take the above reflection into consideration before complaining o.O

Lashing out at your viewers?
Firstly it was only you, you were the only one being an arse about it so your the only one he 'lashed out at'
And secondly, he didnt lash out at all. You were complaining constantly about the lag, and he simply said he'd turn it off if you prefer. He only streams for the viewers, and if youre complaining then why stream at all?
He knows that his stream is laggy, but it hasnt always lagged and its not unwatchable. I have an awful laptop, and pretty bad internet connection, and i was able to make out the 4v4 games he were playing. They werent running smoothly, but saying its unwatchable is complete overkill.
ANd yea hes after new viewers, but who wants viewers that are just gonna be trolls/idiots/piss people off?
Ill continue to watch bullet, and ill continue these morons that sometimes come to watch too ♥

LOL!
As mentioned in my other post I have not spent a lot of time on your stream for a while because
A. You haven't been streaming much lately. B. The stream quality has been poor "laggy" for a while now.
That is the first time I had been in your stream when there was no sound. I along with other viewers simply said "hey the stream is lagging really bad and there is no sound". One of your mods mentioned that you knew about the sound issue and you were trying to fix it.
You came out of a game and made the comment to the order of "hey if you don't like it I will just turn it off". I know it is hard to discern the context of something typed over the internet but to me that was a very arrogant comment to make to your viewers and in no way humble. A simple "yeah it sucks I am trying to fix it" would have sufficed.
As far as not currently making money off your stream from add revenue I know you aren't because you aren't currently partnered with twitch, that is the whole reason you try to gain viewers. I have personally spoke with a justin/twitch rep about your particular stream to see if it would help to get you partnered. I also can't even count how many viewers I have sent to your stream since you have been streaming.
I know it's not much but you do make money from your lessons and if people weren't watching your stream do you think you would have anyone paying you for the lessons?
I still think it was childish and rude the way you responded to your viewers and as I said in chat, don't turn off your stream because of me I will just go watch someone else, and I did.
Also I have mentioned in your chat in the past if you want to fix your lag issue talk to Response as he has a friend who took care of his lag issues through some settings that needed to be changed on his PC I believe it was an Xsplit issue but I am not 100% sure.
Really good showings vs Ryze, and a friend of Husky casting it, pretty cool man. Moving up in the world! Gotta do more tournaments where you can get your face out there. Unfortunately you didn't win but you put up some great fights. Ryze just took advantage of your passive style.

Just a misunderstanding that is pretty easy to make over the internet... Hope this gets resolved with no hard feelings.
To the management of Team Liquid: There comes a time in every young website's lifetime that they feel lost. A time of uncertainty. A time of lost innocence. I feel the energy abuzz all the forums. Its a negative energy, some would call it dark energy. I sense a chaos is about to befall this great e-establishment. There was a time where the world was going to fall into such a fate, those days were called the Dark Ages. Do not wander, do not fret, do not worry, for I have a solution, as did the western world at its most dark era. Europe had the Crusades which brought travel, art, and music but I bring you all that and a bag of chips for I bring you quite possibly the most significant event in your day for I bring you Bulletproof! Yes, YES! Marvel in his majesty. "Teleport successful," is what I say, because takes you to a place of Protoss playing mastery, coupled with the art that is his playing stlye and music that gives quadrapalegics phantom foot tapping. He emits an energy of pure awesome so strong that you get a tan through your monitor; that this website desperately needs. He is (boring part-->) a most gentlemanly player providing skill, commentary, lessons, good music, and SC2 etiquette to the masses (/boring part). This stream should be required viewing in order to sign up for Team Liquid! Make him a featured streamer and set a high standard for Star Craft Streaming excellence.
TEAMLIQUID!!! for fear of being banned i will NOT type this entire post in caps. Bullet needs more recognition for his wicked stream. Sure he doesnt stream NEARLY enough but when he does the quality outweighs the quantity. FEATURED streamer. KKTHXBYE. <3
This man is a baller toss warrior. I check in to his streams all the time to see his toss baws ways. Always gives great incite and is very manner with some fresh tunes to listen to. Give this man the recognition he deserves!
Used to watch this streamer alot, recently checked back in with him and alot has changed. He has become a huge bad manner player and a nerd rager, total 360 from how he used to be. I find it sad, we need more manner in our community and not bm nerd rage. Sad to see someone whos not a little child acting as he is.. i assume hes aiming to be like combat-ez or deezer, maybe its a ploy to get move viewers but he definitly lost one.

hes a very mannered guy, and he despises the likes of combatex, and even bans people for talking about him in the chat - due to some games they played where combat was his usual dickish self.
you might have seen him at a bad time if he was ragin that hard, although its understandable as a toss player atm imo.
To HiGhBish, hes a great player and is fun to watch, havent ever seen bm so i dunno what ur tlking about. Anyways, I watch for entertainment not too see please and ty's. Same reason i watch Idra, south park, and House MD.

Arjofski, Im allowed to have my own opinion and thats exactly what this thread is about. I just find it funny that your trying to come off as in the right, however instead of just stating your opinion u feel the need to throw in personal attacks.
So please guy, your opinion is your opinion. But your the one whos the lowlife trying to talk down to me and making personal attacks just because u dont like what i said.
Stay mature and classy Arjofsky cause clearly you are.

Don't come on here and talk like you have the moral high ground when your first post was nothing but 3 sentences bad mouthing, wrongly might I add, Bullet. You talk about manner but display none yourself I on the other hand am sticking up for what, most if not all people will agree with me, is right.
It was you who called Bullet a 'nerd' as if trying to imply something negative about his personality, I am willing to bet you are a nerd too no negative connotations intended.
Finally I never denied you your opinion but simply disagreed with it and yet you complain of personal attacks but that is quite frankly all you did to Bullet so what do you expect in return? The whole world to agree with you?
I've watched the stream for a long time and just realized today that the community interaction, the great coaching sessions that are streamed, and the amusing PvP nerd rage (pre-1.4 of course), aren't the only reasons to come watch this stream.
Almost everyone in the chat is helpful and enjoys both commenting on bullet's games as well has helping other players with their strategies if BP is too busy to reply.
You cannot simply base a person's attitude and outlook on life off of one viewing. Bullet has bad days, like we all do. He tends to rage during those moments, like we all do. He never claimed to be the most manner or un-biased player. However, he is VERY manner, pretty unbiased, doesn't cry about balance issues (overly :D), and his stream has alot of value. His audience and himself bring one of the best toss learning experiences into your rooms and he allows you to talk freely and openly. If you try to badmouth someone because of one instance in time... i'm sorry but ur just a troll.
Love the stream .... very balanced and enjoyable .... variety of strats used ..... been a fan for almost 2 months .... finally made a fast bookmark to his page ( getting lazy in checking the other stream list )
When he does commentate , he's insightful and very descriptive on what is going on in the game and what he is thinking
just wanna tell you BulletProof (or sublime -_-) that i wont be watching your stream anymore and i unfollowed.
You seem to make alot of people mods, which is your choice, but since ive been your mod (which was while you were trying to hit 300 followers) ive done alot to get your name out there
if you check, i think you'll find im the one that posted the most in your forum, and started the most threads to get it going.
I also bumped this thread alot of times while you were streaming so people would see it and come watch.
And i wrote most of the things that the mods copy/paste into chat to tell people about your coachins, your forum, or just to follow you
i havent been watching much recently, cos my internet is being fucky - i can link you to my sc2 profile and see i havent laddered in over a month if you didnt belive me
And when i do finally get to see you, i see you;ve taken the mod off me? and some of the people you gave it to are ones that i havent seen around in the chat before
yea im angry /rant
gl in SC2, with your job, and change your name back ftw -_-
Thanks to Bullet's streaming....I was able to watch and learn...which has helped me to get out of Bronze league and into Gold. I used to post to the Blizzard forums asking for help all the time, but they are to busy bitching back and forth about IMBA! God forbid's a bronze player post in the forums. They just rage on you because of your rank.
I came across this stream a long time ago and started studying Bullets playing style and again thanks to him (which is problem has no idea) I am now in Gold and getting ready to be ranked into Plat.

you never took it away but its gone. How else would i lose it? look i dont even care about being a mod tbh, if you had to many or thought that i wasnt on much (due to internet issues as i said) then if you'd asked me if i wanted to no longer be one i woulda said fine. But to just take it off for no apparent reason, and to see these new mods who havent been viewers for long, is really frustrating
Really cool stream with a cool dude. Really good with macro play, and also skilled withmicro in battle. LOVE the music he plays during gametime, and he usually jumps into chat and talks strategy about the game after each match.
ThatGuy... ur acting like a 15 year old high school girl. Tbh. It's pretty annoying listening to you complain about your mod status and therefore not watching him anymore because of it. Grow up please. If he took it away, and you say you dont care, then why are u not watching him anymore? Mistakes happen, you should have taken this to him in a PM, not on the forum.
Just had a coaching lesson with Bullet. He is such a cerebral player, really smart when it comes to the game, and does an awesome job of explaining things and helping you refine even the little parts of what you have trouble with.
Definitly look into this guy for some coaching if you are serious about this game. I could legitimatly say that one coaching lesson from him will fix at least one aspect of your play that you were having trouble with, or an aspect that you didn't even know you were doing wrong, and make it work.
Just had a coaching session with Bulletproof (Sublime) and he was very intuitive on the mechanics / strategies of the game. Even though I am in bronze league right now, I believe that with this, I will hopefully jump up to at least silver. I look forward to getting more coaching from him soon. He is an awesome player and very understanding, no matter the league you are in.
I know not a lot of high level players are willing to do coaching for whatever reason but if you are thinking about getting some coaching, I highly recommend you check out his stream. He often streams his coaching sessions along with his own personal laddering games.
Keep up the good work and hope you feel better soon.
Been watching Bullet for a long a time. I posted a couple of weeks ago how I was able to get from Bronze to Gold just by watching and listening to his stream. Now I'm in Platinum. I'm thinking I should hire bullet for some legit coaching since he is very generous and streams his coaching sessions for free to all!
Blizzard royally screwed up GM this season imo. They basically rewarded the hardcore ladderers by allowing like.. the first 200 ppl to play placement matches at 12:01 AM the day it opened into GM. Most of them don't have the MMR or skill for GM but they are in anyway. <3
Bullet, I just want to say you're doing a wonderful job with coaching. Your coaching of Maximusblack has taught me a lot, and also almost made me want to switch back to toss from zerg. That is a rare thing. I do aspire to be a random player, so you help a lot in that.
The way you explain things has helped me a lot. Keep it up, bro. And to everyone else, WATCH! :D
I've only recently started watching BP's stream but he never fails to provide a high level of entertainment and gameplay. I'm learning a lot and appreciate his dedication. Good luck with your quest to GM, a new fan.

So there I was, minding my own business at the hospital where my family was stricken with a new strand of Malaria/Cancer. Ironically, all of their final wishes were to see BulletProof's stream before they died. As the battles raged and the phat dubstep beats were dropped, something special happened. Granny twiggo's dialysis machine reported it was no longer needed! Uncle twiggo's lung manifested in his chest cavity! One by one the twiggo tribe were healed! And it was all thanks to BP's stream. After I awoke from this dream I realized the power of healing that BP's stream could make. Often times I will be watching his stream, rather loudly I might add, and the neighbors will start throwing rocks at my window. They start yelling and screaming at me. Why? They want me to turn it up! That is the power of his stream. Feature him now!
I actually created an account here to tell you that I'm actually learning from watching your games and between you and my friend Zeatch I'm actually beginning to get a better concept on how the game is played and all the ways the meta can become involved in it.
Bulletproof is back! When I started watching him, I was a low little bronze player. I am now in Plat, mostly just from watching, and listen to BP! Terrific stream, come watch and have fun!
EXTREMELY skilled player that really cares about his viewers. If you ask a question he will actually respond and try to help you out, which I admire a lot. Also, his music is sick. Keep streaming BP, your awesome!
If any player retrieve me a HOTS beta key on my behalf I will exchange two hours of coaching to redeem the key, let me know if your interested as I dont have time to try and improve my game / stream and do that arcade thingy.
I will be offering lessons starting Monday September 10th - email me at bpstarcraft@gmail.com for inquiries, the rate will be 30 dollars per hour - I prefer to stream my lessons as a sort of quality insurance and a way for others to benefit from your lesson as well (if you are not comfortable with this then that is not a problem as well).
note I no longer use bulletproofsc2@gmail.com so please fwd requests to bpstarcraft@gmail.com

Nice to see you are streaming more then before ( morning and evening stream) .... nice to watch quality Protoss stream on my days off .... Some of your tactics and your game executions have helped improve my game .... god knows I can use the help
I'm a little depressed that your coaching rate is 30USD :'( but otherwise I've really enjoyed your stream, your insightful and interesting gameplay and last but not least your music selection.
