Really? I missed idra streaming today? I leave my comptuter for like 3-5 hours and he's already streamed and went off-line? Did he say anything about streaming later today? Also, when does he normally stream?

3-gate expand is not very safe at all. Roach/ling all-in beats it pretty easily with decent micro.
And the difference is that protoss is always making units because they can only make 1 probe at a time so they need to spend money on units/tech. Zerg doesn't NEED to get zerglings out and really shouldn't (except for a few) unless they need to. But you can't know if you need to if you can't scout.

I was sad to see the stream so short today. It's pretty annoying how cheesy Terrans are against Idra on ladder. Perhaps tomorrow can be with practice partners?

This is incorrect. As Morrow explains here, "the original 3warpgate expand with forge in natural and cannon behind it is as safe as its gets". He also said earlier in the thread that "3warpgate expo is 100% safe. so is forge expand".

3gate expand is probably the safest build you can do against zerg
the only person having trouble against any kind of roach ling allin as far as i can remember is travis against wzp's build but that was not used for long and i dont think it was used in any pro games

I was referring to 3 gate expand without forge I guess. I don't know, I've seen a lot of 3gate expand's beaten by roach/ling. The timing your attack hits isn't after a cannon is already up. Your attack hits right as they are moving out to expand.
I'd have to watch the game to see when Losira attacked. I don't have a GSL pass so maybe i'll just watch the first game.
edit: So what MorroW says is supposed to be taken as golden? I just don't believe 3 gate expand is 100% safe.

You don't need to take it as golden, but he is a professional and his word matters. You can also watch White-Ra's stream. I see him hold 3 gate expands all the time. The only situation in which I see 3 gate expands falling is when the Protoss is greedy. Examples of greed include putting the forge in the main, not getting a cannon, teching too fast, etc, etc. Really bad FF can also allow the Zerg to bust in, but this is rare at the highest levels of play.

I think a lot of the problem is when the push comes with 6-7 roaches BEFORE the nexus or forge goes up. That's the scary timing for protoss. I'd have to look more into it to really say anything for sure.

If zerg attacks protoss before they expand, protoss can sit on top of their ramp with ff and they're ahead economically. No one tries to kill a toss whos still on 1 base, that is ridiculous.
I've seen idra stream anywhere from mid day to evening (2-11pm) pacific time.
I would like to know if idra plans on attending the GSL super tournament, there is a lot of speculation that he won't in the thread about it, but it's a huge prize pool so either way wouldn't surprise me.

Heh, it was actually really fun and impressive to watch this stream, but there is one major flaw in Idra's play:
Entering mid-game (after mutas pop ZvT-wise) he is constantly floating over 500 minerals. His AMP and macro is phenomenal, it's just that he doesn't have enough larva (larva count consistently under like 4).
