Idra, can you please not put that stupid overlay over the command card? That makes it impossible to follow what's actually going on in your games if I can't see what units you're making.

edit: Also, for some reason, it covers the game clock. Please don't use it anymore until it sucks less.

Yeah the overlay is pretty terrible.. especially for someone trying to learn from his play, we can't get the timings down or anything :<

I never seen idra watch replay after losing, is it because he is too stubborn or he always knows the reason why he lost?

maybe he feels there is nothing to learn from ladder replays.

Well I believe when he was in korea he looked at some replays he lost (I feel like I saw him do that anyway). But in general he probably knows why he lost. I would be surprised if he didn't know tbh as I feel whenever I lose I can pinpoint my problems to why I lose the game and idra is way better then me (and has such insane knowledge) so I assume that

usually he knows i agree, but some games he loses to some kind of timing like 2 base blink stalkers or something and he has no idea what opponent had, like how many gateways, or did he has robo, probe count etc, that's all important and he never looks. On the other hand player like Sen watches replay pretty much every game he lost, and he is really good.

Those are exactly the types of things his game knowledge would make up for. If he loses to an allin, I'm sure he has seen it before and just misjudged his opponents build, rather than being ignorant to the build itself.

I'm sure if you get 4gated and lose, you have enough knowledge to know that is what it was, even without seeing the gateways themselves. Same concept, only on a larger more complex scale.

but still you can't know for sure. How can he know it was allin 100% if he didn't see his gateway count & probe count? Did he see his 3rd base? If yes then it probably wasn't an allin, or fake expand, or of he knew toss didn't had 3rd then why he didn't defend? There are so many things to look out and player like sen is really good but still watches every lost game, because you can't know everything. I haven't saw idra watch a single lost game on ladder, and i am pretty sure not because he knows everything.

Alpina you can know 2base toss timings based on the amount of units it has in it. No need to see the probe count or gateways to figure you lost to X timing attack, when you can just count the units slaughtering your base.

Maybe he just doesn't watch replays on stream.

Also you watch replays for more than just why you lost.

Awesome that IdrA is streaming but would be helpful if he could analyse a little bit more whilst playing as hearing : "This guy is so terrible" does not really help get into his head otherwise very awesome to see such a high level player streaming!!!
