EPTIt's probably the best sound i've heard from a caster so far. I'm actually really interested in how you achieved the sound while probably not using professional outboard hardware.

The funny thing is the criticism wasn't even that bad, all they said was that you were spending too much time talking about your youtube channel instead of focusing on the game. They said that you could talk about your youtube channel between games. If you get so offensive about something so tame, wait until you get a larger following and the helpful criticism turns into "hate." I agree with the criticism, if that matters, you do spend too much time talking about other things during the game and sometimes you miss action because of it. If I were to add any other criticism it would be that letting observers into the game takes up a lot of time, they can watch your stream. You seem like a very nice person, maybe you were just having a bad day, anyway good luck in the future. | ||

I passed 2,000 subscribers on YouTube which is something I never dreamed of when I started casting. Right when I was at 1,996, everyone in my chat was going nuts with "Who is going to be 2,000?" as I was going to call them out and thank them on stream. As the game was slow at that point, I decided to play along, as enthusiasm was high to break the barrier. So I took a temporary pause from the game and encouraged it. I know not everyone likes that! I do. But have you noticed that when I say things, like, "Hey, I'll call out each person who subscribes," and I all of a sudden get 100+ subscribers? People like the interaction. Same reason people liked when I invited them as an observer (which, I appreciate the feedback, and I agree with you, and have stopped doing so, as there's too many people to accommodate now). And that comment was, quite literally, the only negative thing ever said about to me up until this point about that interaction. Not even a passing, "Hey Cats, just wait until after the game." Nothing. I admit, my adrenaline was high as I was about to reach that barrier. But when someone jumps in the way they did, just throws out a negative comment that was poorly worded and then immediately leaves, it irks me. Should I have said, "Fuck off?" No. I admit that, and I'm sorry, but so many people hide behind anonymity, and I'm someone who likes direct interaction, and it set me off. I'm actually scouring my Justin.tv to look for the clip to see what I exactly said, as I believe I made a comment about me about to hit 2,000, thus the reason for my comments, and not "I have X, you don't, so fuck off." Nonetheless, I apologize for that, and will never turn criticism into "hate." I have plenty of people tell me "You're the worst caster," etc. That's hate. Not, "Hey, pay more attention to the game." Please bear in mind as well that I almost never interact with chat and such during tournament streams. When I'm on my own stream, I'm a lot more easy going, talking to people, interacting with people, etc. | ||

Keep up the good work man - the last KOTH night went really I thought and was a blast even if I didn't quite manage to stay up for the whole thing (darn time zones!!!). | ||
