A temp ban for destiny is fine considering blizzards situation(they're probably worried that destiny may start doing it to other ppl since he can(not saying he would, explaining what would be a bliz worry)), but deezer should have been perma-banned.( I know he'd make another account but seriously blizzard has to do something, even if it's banning 1 account at a time.)

I agree. Also if it's true that his account got kicked out of Grandmaster league that is really sad. From what I gather you can't get back into Grandmaster until next season?

Deezer (the real one at least) hasn't logged on since yesterday, there is a strong chance that he was banned as well.

In late game ZvZ, please try out Overseers/Contaminate after you infested terran their third. You can use their skill from the minimap, like the larva inject from a queen. Personally, I like 2-3 OS per hatch, and I just do it after injecting larva (so Its contaminated for 30 of 40 seconds). It will make all the difference in the world if you can do this while denying them their third. -Manlot

And please, lets stop trying to pretend deezer hasnt broken the TOS/EULA. Account sharing / borrowing is not allowed. Oh yea, and technically SB2 hasn't broken the EULA at all. Even if you argue that the actions of his followers can be attributed to him, he isn't using 3rd party software to drop Deezer. It's a flaw in B.net, exploited in B.net. The TOS and EULA both only restrict 3rd party software from hacking / dropping etc etc etc. Abusing a B.net flaw isn't breaking the EULA.

There's a reason you can report someone for death threats. Its not right that Deezer didn't get anything yet Steven got a week temp ban. Shows that Blizzard has no sense of justice if all it heard was Deezer's butthurt.

Its not right that Deezer didn't get anything yet Steven got a week temp ban. Shows that Blizzard has no sense of justice if all it heard was Deezer's butthurt. If it wasn't reported, how will blizzard ban deezer? Did Destiny break the ToS by convincing hundreds of people to harass someone online? Were all of Destiny account banned, or just his main one where his actions were tracable? Where's the smoking gun for Destiny or Deezer proving they did what they did? Was it on another media, such as a chatroom exterior to SC2, or did one or both of them commit these behaviors in Sc2 itself, thus allowing their behavior to fall under the ToS? Seeing as how Destiny is playing on another account, it seems like they didn't ban all his accounts. He only got 7 day ban (which in itself is not in any Blizz policy, they hand out 24,48,72, and account closure by their own "threat" pyramid), so I say he got off lucky even though he did something that warrants account closure, and this is only because he is well known and famous. I daresay even some blizz employees watch him, which is of course negligence on their part, since he hasn't ever been banned for his racist talk or profanity. Maybe, Destiny is joking around and not being serious, but that doesn't matter to the harassment rules. Any profanity is against the rules, even with the filter in. So any blizz employees watching his stream where he says these things over SC2 chat interface are being derelict in their duties. Destiny has had it lucky. He got lucky not being perma banned for doing something obviously against the rules. Either you report something to blizzard when it happens, or people won't get kicked off for their behavior. thats how it is. Destiny did something very public thats clearly against the rules, and maybe even got reported for it. But it was definitely noticeable to blizzard when 1000s of players start spamming a single individual. I've had my signature since day one, well before this. It sums it up.

yesterday idra got about 200 invites per minute by a guy who called himself deezer but obviously wasnt him. maybe it was one of his multis maybe not. but i think blizz is sending a wrong signal to the community by letting deezer be. cause if he gets away with that stuff, why cant others get away with and. and there we have 10, 20, 100... deezer fanboys doing the same BS he does.
