I think the difference between you and CatZ against Masq was that CatZ sent early lings to his base, kept him inside, and spread creep to keep his map control. That last game with Masq, his marines just went in front of your natural and you couldn't break out at all; imagine if he had even made just two tanks or some bunkers. Also, your mutas were nearly completely useless; all infestors probably would've worked better. CatZ typically gets the energy upgrade for infestors as well, before making them. With the extra resources you were floating, you probably should've fortified your third with some spine crawlers, maybe made a macro hatch due to how cheap lings are. While roaches aren't super effective against marines, banelings + zerglings + roaches would let the roaches add extra DPS (think about how often you have 20 lings surrounding four marines and just running around senselessly) and also tank marine/siege tank shots while banelings roll in. Typically if they add tanks in the mix, Ultras would really be an effective to absorb siege hits, and then lings take care of everything. Anyway, I know you're better than me blah blah blah but that's just what I got out of watching your stream for three hours. | ||

One thing i noticed just comparing your games vs Masq qith Catz games was the creep spread, he spread a lot of creep enabling him to surround easier and hit with banelings easier. Load up the replays and just look at the minimap and i think you will see a big diff. | ||
