Steven's stream is extremely entertaining for reasons that many don't understand because of their ADD.
If you only see a couple of youtube snippets of Steven's rage and never watch his stream for more than a couple of minutes, it's understandable that you might not like him or think that he's genuinely BM. He isn't. He's like a chocolate teddy bear filled with warm honey. How can you not like that? How can you not enjoy that?
The only issues with his stream are the power-tripping mods that never leave poor Steven's side. I guess chocolate teddy bears need protection from the big bad trolls that don't leave him alone and have gotten him in trouble before.

Steven's stream is an excellent resource for players eager to learn more about micro and efficient spending. His play style is eccentric in zvz but mostly normal in zvp and zvt, and while his reputation for bad behavior is basically deserved, he seems to reserve it for those who earn it. Those who earn it and Terrans. I suppose that's redundant? 
I've personally learned a lot - both about what to do, and what not to do - from watching.

Guys, leave it alone, TL doesn't like him, they found reasons to legitimize it, and TL is not a democracy, so seriously you are only hurting his chances by creating a 1 post account and asking that question on this thread.
If you do want to help him out, go post well on the forums, come back with your prestige and throw it behind him.
