Whats sickening about this post is that, if the genders were reversed, you'd be defending the woman and how DARE the man release her nudes to 40k+ people, and how it was such an overkill, and how breaking into her twitter, facebook, and email is against the law and he should be arrested. here's a good summary. I think that sending nudes (while incredibly stupid) is a rather large show of trust, and violating that trust is a big deal (obviously). The girl responded in kind, just with more people, and he had more to lose. I cant say i'm very sympathetic for him, but I'm not really sympathetic for her either.

No idea how you see these on the same scale. Admittedly the trust was violated, but that was a private conversation, and do we even know if he sent them copies of the images rather than just displaying on-screen?
She's distributed all sorts of personal information to the masses. I can see why she'd be hurt and wanting revenge but I think she'll regret the way she's gone about it once the fallout is over.

yeah, honestly i think its on the same scale.
I think embarassment is equal; they not only talked a ton of shit about her, after she made herself vulnerable, and the conversation became public. His was on a much more public scale, but hes a public figure, and is used to a lot more "exposure," so i think broadcasting it on a much larger scale equalized the embarassment, as opposed to magnified it.
as far as trust, i think its equal. the girl sent those pictures in confidence, so i think it was a huge violation of trust, no matter how much or little he shared the image. The fact that he shared something so obviously secret is a pretty big deal, in my opinion.
lastly, destiny's reaction to the scandal was very immature, and reinforces my preconceptions of him, and leads me to believe that he is rather deserving.
