I've only ever seen slowmode on today. And orb had 1k+ viewers which is the most I've seen him have since he's been back streaming. If I'm around modding I won't have it on unless there is excessive trolling or the chat is moving too fast. I wasn't around today until he was almost done streaming. There were also some new mods I didn't recognize. The ones I know of know to ban the right people.
I watch Orb streams for a long time and people never got banned so easily as today.
I agree that people should be given a 10 minute ban for using offensive words, spamming, typing in caps or posting links and perma-ban if they keep doing that.
People got banned for very little reason today and I'm not the only one who complained about this.
I hope Orb is more careful when he picks his mods next time ...

I was really thrilled to see Orb back - watched him streaming a couple of days ago when he just got partnered with JTV or before that.
His whole new attitude of "I have to realize that while this game is imbalanced i want to get better and the only way of doing that is by analyzing what i do wrong, check replays, correct small mistakes."
The will to improve is the one thing that has stayed with Orb since beta and BW. If the obstacle that is his temper (and, lack of eating/sleeping) was removed, i think he'd rise to the top very fast. His clouded judgement while on tilt is the only thing standing between him and an illustrious career in SC2.
While BW was a game that made certain "the better player [mostly] wins", he has to admit the benefits of SC2 - the lesser demand for mechanical perfection is what enables himself and many other "semi-pros" a shot at the top. In BW you could stomp those below you but there would always be a bigger fish. The more even playing field of SC2 is something to be thankful for.
If the promises that were made on that day not long ago are realized, i'll be a big fan of Orb regardless of tournament prowess. Overcoming personal difficulties to improve at something you love is a major accomplishment and getting to see it happen live on stream would be unique.

I wasn't around for 95% of orb's stream today. So that fault lies with the mods who were there. Like I said, I saw new mods I've never seen before. Perhaps it was them. I'm almost always in orb's chat when he streams, he was on super early today though so I couldn't be there. I do take a zero tolerance policy for obvious trolls, but I don't ban people just because they are commenting on the games.

The kid who goes "oh some dumb marine all-in is coming, derp" then when it doesn't come he screams and rages and when he gets destroyed by what his opponent was actually doing he insults him and ragequits and then calls his viewers retarded if they say anything critical of his play.
He has no will to learn from his mistakes or anything, he just keeps massing games and losing to the same 1base all-ins that seem so prevalent in mid-master on NA without improving, all the while whining about imbalance. I have no idea why his stream is featured. He's immature, rude, and he isn't even anything special, skill-wise.

Where is your awesome featured stream then? If you think you can do better and get featured go right ahead. He at least tries to deal with the bs. Him raging is just what he does. Plenty of people rage. I rage. So f-ing what. Why do you watch his stream if you don't like it?

The funniest part about this joke of a post is that I distinctly remember (despite being up for over 36 hours at the time and still having some mj in my system) the game you're talking about, and he was going for a marine all-in, he just changed his strat when he scanned me and saw I was actually prepared, so he dropped a command center. The difference is that I don't have scan, so I couldn't tell he changed his strategy until it was too late due to my strategy not involving robo tech.
I love when people judge everything about me (maturity, rudeness, skill, etc) all based on a single session of streaming when I'd be awake far too long.
Because clearly at every moment everyone is showcasing their 100%, especially when sleep-deprived.

Actually orb, every single time I watch you're stream you are raging about why Zerg takes no skill what so ever, and how you lose every single ZvP to mass roaches, then last time I was on your stream which was a few days ago, you were cussing at one of your viewers, insulting him and telling him you don't want him watching your stream anymore, just because he was trying to give some insight.
I find that you have the same attitude every time I watch , and you making excuses that you haven't slept in 36 hours and still have weed in your system ( lol ) is like a ridiculous excuse for your behavior.
Maybe for once you should try to become open minded, especially since you smoke herb, and drop all the shit you think you know, and realize you know nothing, then maybe you will get better. - -;

and yes, 1 voidray expand is very good vs roaches as long a u make sure u have some ground support to take care of lings and stall them a bit.

i dislike how he just goes on insulting the viewers of the stream when he loses.
for example, he was attacked destructable rocks, and his army got attacked but was still attacked the rocks cause HE told his army to do that. he lost that battle, lost the game, raged that the AI is "effing retarded" then proceeded to start calling the viewers retarded.
truthfully, i enjoyed watching orbs stream, but when he's streaming to give himself self-esteem via insulting the viewers, its not fun for us the viewers.
anyhow, im scared to even post this.
edit: just to clarify, this is my opinion, i'm not trying to start any drama lol.
also, i was banned from his chat yesterday when he lost to two-port banshee, and from watching desrow's stream desrow had said you need to get observer speed + phoenix, so i typed that into chat and i got banned. lol.

Can I request to be unbanned? I have done nothing but support you and your mods, I made one joke about Michael Jackson and got banned forever. I fail to see how that is fair considering it was said to be a joke nor was it offensive. Please unban my accounts ShrikeGames and OverKillv7 (I went on SG and was talking only to be randomly banned later despite not saying anything?).

Exactly, he doesnt have to respond. It is much more important to not respond if he intend to insult viewers. If he is nice at lans, his problem is that he feels protected because he is far away from us over the internet but he should learn that no matter where he is, his actions can have a bad influence on him hence giving him a bad reputation and getting people to hate him.
This is something I sure hope he will learn with time

Some mods on Orb's channel are awful ...
Orb keeps saying that Fungal Growth is OP and it removes micro from game and everyone who disagrees or says that forcefields are similar gets banned on chat ...
I don't mind what Orb says about infestors, but we should be allowed to have opinions on it too.
