So orb.. I just watched the grand final of TSL. It was PvT. I didn't see how naniwa got up 3-1, but the terran, thorzain, came back to win 4-3. All I saw in those games was him going mass marauder and ghosts with vikings and medivac. Ghosts with EMP literally gimped the toss army for his maruaders to clean up. It was a fucking joke. Pretty much as soon as terran got ghosts the game was over. High templar would not have helped. I don't even think naniwa tried to get them, he probably thinks they are useless too. Really can't stand how EMP has always just been there for terran. No research or anything for it. They just need to tech to ghosts and they magically have it. And ghosts are also more gas efficient now. Like terran needed that right? | ||

They didn't say the ghost cost too much or that it wasn't good enough for the cost, they said they wanted to see it more in all 3 matchups... really? So even if it's fucking amazing, because players don't use it enough (cause they're too busy using just the marauder/marine since they're so ez to win with) they lower to cost? Protoss players don't use carriers enough, how about they lower the price of the carrier to 300/200? How about they lower the mothership cost to 200/200? Blizzard is so dumb with their "balance" decisions it's unreal | ||

Maybe something with 3gates to hold early pressure , then when you are safe just add a twilight council to get charge , but I still wonder if you should tech to DTs or HTs , maybe it depends if the enemy is going robo or blink... Also taking a gaz can be a good idea to force a 4gate and cancel/delay DT's. Can someone detail your orb's build? | ||

If you scout your opponent going 4gate (aka saved up chrono, no double gas) you take your second gas, get a second and third gateway, and keep constant probe production. Save chrono until core finishes and use on pumping sentries. Get warp gate tech researching too (don't bother chronoing it, you can beat it with the improved sentry build time and it's better to chrono those imo). Depending on how commited I think my opponent will get with the 4gate I usually get ~4-6 sentries. After I ahve that many I pump pure zealots from my warpgates and start the twilight as soon as you have the gas once your sentries are built. Watch the ramp and be ready to force field... if you miss you will probably lose. Position units near edges of the cliff to hit any warping in pylons. You should always be able to hit them with the new radius. Chrono charge asap and keep pumping zealots. Get Templar Archives, then build archon from two templar. Once charge is done and you have an archon you should be able to bust the contain the 4gate will do on you once the initial attack fails. Use the archon to break FFs and use the chargezealots to demolish everything in sight. It's a lot easier when your opponent isn't 4 gating so you don't have that FF miss = loss risk in the early game. | ||

I played some ladder and since the patch DTs became very popular in PVP (mid master lvl) Or even include a forge as a total part of your build and a default canon so you can hit a +1 attack timing which can be huge in pvp.. | ||

You play it completely differently if you see them go other builds specifically added forge vs dt (don't forget u can attack shit with archons and do splash to dts though, very useful sometimes), added stargate pumping phoenixes vs heavy colossus builds, and stargate(s) pumping phoenixes vs mass air | ||

On other streams I got banned only once (in ~2 months) and now I got banned on Orb's chat because I complained about moderators. We can't discuss balance, we can't argue with other people in chat, we can't say anything bad about Orb's play, etc. etc. Also slow mode is almost always enabled even if the chat isn't moving fast. Orb please get some better mods who don't get mad so easily and start banning everyone for no reason ... this only encourages people to troll more or not watch your stream anymore. Edit: just got perma-banned by sztanpet for this post. Oh well ... minus one viewer I guess. | ||

I've only ever seen slowmode on today. And orb had 1k+ viewers which is the most I've seen him have since he's been back streaming. If I'm around modding I won't have it on unless there is excessive trolling or the chat is moving too fast. I wasn't around today until he was almost done streaming. There were also some new mods I didn't recognize. The ones I know of know to ban the right people. | ||
