He fucked up the five or so balls he got that could have been potential goals | ||

How can you even think the opposite, Ronaldo looked like he was going to cry every time the camera was on him. Poland was embarrassing you're defense. I got to find that clip where poland was stringing 5-6 passes through your defense. You didn't deserve a penalty and your goal was a very lucky deflection. Portugal doesn't deserve to be in the semis and will be crushed by Belgium if they show up bringing this same performance. Anyways enjoy one more game. | ||

It's like half the argentinians when talking about Messi.. when they win and he scores, messi is the best and a god.. when he doesn't score and they lose.. he doesn't care.. etc.. Ronaldo is the best player in a good team but with clear problems, lack of quality Striker and a forward presence, poor left and right backs.. etc. Ronaldo yesterday even pressured the defense, had a 84%(or something) passing accuracy.. If Portugal wins and most of the time is with Ronaldo's goals he is the best.. if we lose he sucks! Truth is.. we are better with Ronaldo then without him | ||

The goal portugal scored was luck because the ball was deflected. If you don't see the difference in that I completely understand why you think you were better than croatia and poland :D edit: Ronaldo didnt play bad because he didnt shot that goals, he played bad because of the way he completely failed on the attempts. You can expect a lot more of a player that says of himself that he is better than everyone else. | ||

You can expect a lot more of a player that says of himself that he is better than everyone else. But they did get the attempts. I agree Portugal played better than Poland. I also agree Portugal's goal was lucky. These 2 events are not mutually exclusive If we just look at statistics, Portugal had more corners (7 to 2), more total attempts (21 to 14), more "dangerous attacks" - whatever that is. Passing accuracy and ball possession was pretty even. Portugal played better. | ||

The biggest problem is with the lack of fluid play because João Mario and André play out of position and without a clear forward Ronaldo is not so effective.. if he scored on changes that he normally doesn't fail.. we would have won almost all the games | ||

At least read all the stats, not only the ones you want Don't see how they played "better". Besides, a team that cant win against austria doesn't deserve it to win the EC anyway (not so serious). | ||

I took them from this site: www.uefa.com You can click stats for more. On target is 6-5 for PT, still the better side. I can't comprehend how you can say Poland played better, they were nowhere after that initial goal. | ||

(Vertonghen sprained his ankle in the last minute of yesterday's training) Our midfield is still fine. They'll probably be told to play extra defensively. It'll be a boring game with few chances I fear. Extra time and penalties is likely imo. | ||
