I hate that guy he's the best germany has on that position, quite sad tbh There are no great true 9 atm. 10 years ago, it was all about this role but now it's on the wing. hey klose still played in 2014 :p

As long as he is making it count Im ok. But he does miss alot. Historically he has missed more sitters than many strikers on top teams get to miss in their entire careers. In this German team he's exactly what's needed. He's limited but everybody else is afraid to score. No. Gomez is only useful vs small teams. In important big matches you will notice his limits He's scored important goals against big teams. As long as he gets chances he can always make something happen. But his limitations are somewhat obvious even against smaller teams. That said, I'd say he's improved. I would trade Giroud for Gomez tbh. You'd be stupid to do that. Germany would trade Gomez for Giroud. idk, I think they are very similar.
I don't think they are similar at all.. I watch them both play every week..

Giroud is a target man and Gomez is a poacher. I wouldn't call them similar. As long as Gomez is scoring it's fine, but when he isn't you are playing with 10 men. I think Gomez is alright in this German squad, but he's no van Nisterooij.

Are people seriously doing the same mistake with Germany as they did with Spain? It's pretty obvious that a big team is going to dominate after an early goal -.-
