EDIT: For golden boot I'd go with Torres, Muller, or Sneijder. torres ? ....
I think there's an outside chance that he can have a good tournament. I think his problems at chelsea are more linked to their playing style than anything else. Even with his injury issues during the later portions of his liverpool spell, he was still scoring regularly for them.

At the start of the tournament, my prediction was Van Persie. But after yesterday's performance, I can't see my prediction coming true!

Sad but true I hope we'll be able to turn it around.

I told you guys already, noone from group B is gonna win this. Just to hard of a group to score, and if you can't score 3-4 goals at group stage, there is very little chance to win the golden boot.

Well, after Spain - Italy I think we can push Torres out of the "serious contenders" group. The Italian D-line gave him all the space in the world, he got a few immaculate passes that set him up with 100% chances that he wasn't close to converting. He's in a slump right now and I wouldn't be surprised if Llorente gets priority.

I would be surprised to see Llorente, not because I think Torres is better, but because I think del bosque made it clear that he rather favours midfielders to strikers.

How could Van Persie miss -.-

That russian striker also has 3 goals.

It won't be Dzagoev or Manzdukic because they will proably don't play the full 6 games.

van persie, huntelaar, klose, balotelli and benzema are very unlikely.

Well Benz only played one game so I wouldn't count him out quite yet if he manages to go wild vs Ukraine/Sweden.
Otherwise seems about right.

Hmm. Germany is almost guaranteed an easy road up to semis where they are likely to encounter Spain. If they manage to defeat Spain, then Super Mario wins. In fact, even if Germany loses semis, Gomez may have scored enough goals by then.

If both germany and spain win their groups, which it currently looks like, they can only face each other in the finals. iirc.
