Muhammad Ali is a folk hero, one of the first truly black men to challenge America in black terms. Only emo or falsely modest Europeans predict that theyre going to lose games. Confidence is everything in any kind of competition. If you don't absolutely expect to win, you don't really have much of a chance. So yes of course he says that, but it doesn't mean anything.
