Look, it's only natural to praise someone when you are friends with a player, that you've played a ton with, a player whose strengths you've all seen lots and lots of times. They've seen tons of games of them, you might only have seen games from them for the first time now. Also, ret is not American, he still talked about how great players like nyoken are, surely that's not blind patriotism then, is it. Oh and, another player they hyped up a lot: Infernal. Why? Because they know him well and know that he's capable of much more than what he's showed in the past when it mattered. Can't just be Americans hyping players up just cause they're American.
