The 1-0 rush is 30 seconds later than the push without 1-0, however it is a lot more powerful, obviously. When I noticed Hayder took his third base so close to me knowing he had my usual timing in mind (+1 build - I use this one in practice 24/7) I decided to edge it out with those extra 30 seconds and it worked perfectly. In fact not making the 1-0 asap won me the game right there because Hayder's timing was just waaay off - he just started to make a sunken when my zealots arrived.
Thanks everyone for the support & nice words, I will try my best to keep playing like my usual self and not like the nervous pussy I sometimes transform into. However, I was a lot more at ease today when it comes to the nerves, I guess winning yesterday and the fact that I know Hayder really really well made me stay calmer as usual today.

A few observations:
1) Even though Gamtja didnt make it to the R3 he deserves more credit than he gets. He is not that bad as people talk him. Everyone should watch YAN's first game vs Ghosta. Its just ridicolous what he plays. His strategy is so stupid and bad. I fail words to describe it but I never saw a 1v1 replay of this guy but its just beyond me how he could get A- or even A ( !? )
2) Ghosta is much better than I thought. Very solid player..
3) Infernal is so good. If he can keep this up and not choke.. His PvZ is so good.. Not saying haypro played as amazing as a zerg can but when watching infernals PvZ u get that '' u see it coming but can do jack shit about it '' feeling.. stunning
4) Shamans old school play reminded me of iloveoov time.. 2 rax pumping around 7 rines expanding and then timing attacks.. pretty neat
I wonder what would have happened if incontrol played ''normal'' / modern strategies. He tried to adapt which maybe was a mistake but dunno really..
5) This flaf guy is for real. His ZvP seems to be pretty damn good. Actually its kinda sad he has to face ret cause I dont know anything bout his ZvT whereas rets is pretty awesome.. ZvZ is just a cruel match up imo.. but I think his ZvP isnt lightyears away from rets tbh..
6) Mikoels TvP is pretty awesome.. I mean watch his games.. This guys a TvP beast
I wonder when kollls games will be played..

mikoel had impressive tvp i agree, he shouldve passed xiaozi too if he scouted better

I am definetly surprised how bad Avi really is... This guy has no micro, no macro and is only using silly all-inisch builds every Game... But i like him as a Person :D

Look, it's only natural to praise someone when you are friends with a player, that you've played a ton with, a player whose strengths you've all seen lots and lots of times. They've seen tons of games of them, you might only have seen games from them for the first time now. Also, ret is not American, he still talked about how great players like nyoken are, surely that's not blind patriotism then, is it. Oh and, another player they hyped up a lot: Infernal. Why? Because they know him well and know that he's capable of much more than what he's showed in the past when it mattered. Can't just be Americans hyping players up just cause they're American. While what you say is mostly true, the SC "media" went farther than just saying that they are good players, which indeed they are, no one said otherwise. They said that, since they don't know Flaf and almost never heard of him he must be a worse player than G5 and will surely lose. I find it hard to imagine how any person can make such a statement, without knowing what each side is capable off. If that isn't blind patriotism I don't know what is.
Look, if someone is a top starcraft player, the most logical thing to do is to particiapte in starcraft tournaments and get some success and money or whatever with it. Another logical thing is if youre a top player and wanna improve, to play games with other top foreigners to practice. If someone inside the scene like idra/ret don't even know who the person is, then it's just not very likely he is that good, or he might just be a newcomer whos gotten good real fast (but will lack experience). That someone is really REALLY good, has been for a while and is still unknown is simply pretty rare. It's just common sense to assume he wont be that good, that doesn't mean that you can't be wrong But jesus, maybe this wasn't clear from my last post since I didn't actually spell it out: IT CANNOT BE PATRIOTISM IF YOU HYPE UP SOMEONE WHO IS FROM A DIFFERENT COUNTRY (hint: Netherlands is not the same as USA)

But blind, sweeping flames and sarcasm toward Romanians and ret saying "I just can't see myself losing to a guy named Flaf" is just unnecessary.

There are plenty of koreans on iCCup to play with, you don't have to hop the foreigner bandwagon to practice. Not everyone dodges koreans, you know.

This kind of thinking is what made idra lose to koll at WCG, G5 lose to flaf, and we've seen plenty other upsets in this TSL, very rare indeed. I actually don't mind it, the more those people act like this the more surprises there will be, also we get to see more pearls of wisdom from idra before he DOESN'T gg out.

Remind me again, how did ret get to korea? Oh wait, I remember he got invited thanks to Artosis (and ret's skill of course). I'll let you guess Artosis' nationality, since you seem that good at sarcasm. I'll let you also guess in whose apartment ret is living nowadays also, I'm THAT kind.
Ret is not biased towards Americans at all, not the least bit...

I think you misinterpretted what he was responding to. You said "Well that's what you get for overhyping your players, I bet it tastes bitter now. But nice of inc and G5 to be so well mannered about everything, I would have expected at least some sarcasm, if not BM."
And you're saying that to an American. Just to remind you, you used "you're" so you're referring to a collective body. This body is "Americans" in general. He responded to your argument based off of what you said, so your response doesn't make much sense. Ret "over hyped" Americans despite not being a member of the collective group you're dismissing as "Americans."
Also, singling out two Americans (G5 and inc) and saying you expected a negative reaction from them makes it seem as if you're profiling people based on their nationality, which is not the right way to post around here.
-----------------
In any event, I'm really glad to hear your thoughts on the second game, infernal. I was watching and thought "oh noes! he forgot his +1 and seems to be going for a zeal timing attack. this can't go well" That it was intentionally done makes it an even more amazing game.

Haha, TSL is raping my LB. I can't believe I got almost none of them right.

Quite a few strong germans. Too bad Avi didn't advance, I was rooting for him. Cool players like the BBQ toss, G5 and Incontrol are obvious let-downs as well, but good for the ones that advanced anyway!

Well it's hard not to think of you guys as bad mannered when I hear Artosis saying "If i don't know you, you don't exist" or something along those lines, not to mention IdrA's comments and remarks left and right. If the two people with the most coverage act like this, and you support them for the most part, it's logical to assume the vast majority acts like this, right?
I'd like to end it here, no point starting another x vs Americans debate, but as a reminder it was a user with an US tag that started the whole nationality thing, that's when I felt compelled to reply.

USA players are overrated / hyped, that makes too big expectations towards the players. Its really unfair for them T_T
I was surprised of the lack of cheese, considering theres money on the line. Also I cant belive Yan won that game2 where ghosta even scouted his proxys... omg.. Yan is really much better player then these results show.
