You may ask yourself why would i bother ? The same reason that 4chan took down the ubisoft servers when they introduced the draconian DRM for assassins creed. I agree with this, its not my place to backseat mod but I feel that this is the kind of poster we want to remove from the forums. His account was over a year old, this was his first ban, and all of his other posts are actually pretty fine. This was definitely an excessive threat, hence the 30 day ban for his first offense, but I wasn't convinced a perm was needed. Obviously he won't get much leeway now if he does something similar again.
Before looking at his post count and account made date I just assumed it was some lurker who had randomly signed up for one post or something, didn't think someone who's been on this forum for that long would just say/do something like that. Needless to say it was a pretty random thing to say / do? Makes no sense whatsoever lol. Why would you even want to go to make the effort to do something so trivial. Prove some stupid point? Well ok then!
Guess he'll have to just think harder next time.
I expected more bans over this MLG weekend - maybe it'll ramp up tomorrow!
