TL is still doing all the right things; it still has its personality and sense of place, and it's well moderated and remains the best place to go to feel like a member of the SC community. But the community is getting smaller, and we're all getting too old for StarCraft to be the all-consuming obsession it once was. I'm sure that if something happened to restore StarCraft's popularity, TL would bloom again, because it's doing so much right at a fundamental level, but unless Microsoft is secretly investing in SC3, I don't see that happening. Maybe if the community falls in love with whatever FrostGiant is working on and TL embraces it as an honorary SC game. Anyway, my original post wasn't in any way meant as a criticism of TL, I've been coming here for twelve years and I love it here. If I knew what could be done to get people excited to come here and be a community and talk more about the games I love, I'd be shouting it from the rooftops. | ||
