swag_bro was just banned by Plexa. That account was created on 2014-07-16 02:35:53 and had 782 posts. Reason: Not sure why the last one wasn't perm. Consistently one of the worst posters on TL for over a year. swag_bro just got permed | ||

As a long-time swag_bro supporter, I have to say that there has been a shift in his posting style recently. Before, he was trolling, but (a) never about the same players and (b) never being too insulting towards players or teams. If anything, you could have waited after Blizzcon, the game will be daed soon anyway and there won't be any events to be interpreted through his great wisdom anymore. + Show Spoiler + Would you believe that there is finally a big Blizzard event in Prague, in the fucking O2 arena (the largest practical venue in the country) and it does NOT have SC2? If anyone will be around and think that the local meal is bland, I can surely help with that, the supply of salt is bottomless. | ||

I don't think that's an excuse, plenty of people are lurkers and any healthy community revolves around new community members. Not everyone is going to know who's who when they log into an online forum, I don't even look at the poster's name most of the time when I'm just casually browsing. And if the expectation becomes "you can shit post as long as it's not an important thread" then the overall quality of the posts is inevitably going to go down. | ||

His leading questions and inability (unwillingness) to Google even the simplest stuff may have been a bit over the top, but he wasn't necessarily bad in that thread. Now if you had banned him for his obnoxious shit in the US politics thread, it would make more sense. | ||
