User was temp banned for this post. I'm sorry if I'm part of why you temp-banned yourself D: I'm back! It was not because of you at all man, don't worry, I just had a PhD thesis to write and I found that I was writing too much on TL instead xD. Well, this thesis is still not finished, so I'd better get back to it.

That is what I was thinking. The post doesn't indicate one way or the other.

Did he live 2200 years ago on some other calendar?
|
Roughly 2100 by the Islamic calendar.

The Roman calendar? For real? We haven't used the Roman calendar in centuries... in Europe, we have corrected that awful thing with the Gregorian calendar, which we also exported around the world (probably the British empire that mostly took care of that).
It's not to say the statement above is wrong: the Julian calendar's errors wouldn't add up to more than a couple of weeks error since 0 AD. It's just an outdated thing.

That's a SC2 player. He performed in Wings of Liberty in some Dreamhack while it was Bo1 back in the day. He 6pooled everyone and got some big names out of the tournament if i recall correctly. I think he even cheesed White-Ra doing a 7pool instead of a 6pool.

Not really the British empire--they took forever to adopt the Gregorian calendar due to it being a Catholic improvement.

brokenwatch was just temp banned for 2 days by Carnivorous Sheep.
That account was created on 2011-07-08 06:24:09 and had 26 posts.
Reason: Insensitive comments + country bashing is not a good combination. It's generally a poor idea to add "lol merican inferiority" at the end of an apology post.

Is it bad if the first thing that came to mind was in what areas Azerbaijan out does the US? (His profile says he is from Azerbaijan.)
Super knee jerky on my part.
