Yeah, one way to represent an infinite series in calculus is just an upper-case sigma with n=1 on the bottom and the infinite sign on the top. And then you have the term on the right (e.g. 1/[2]^n). The snarky math jabs are totally fine, getting made fun of is part of the job. They happened not because I am too stupid to count, but because I was sooooooooo careful with my bans, it's incredible. I literally triple-checked, quadruple-checked everything because I didn't want to mess anything up. I especially didn't want to ban anyone by mistake or something. So I had like 25 tabs open (don't know how that happened) and one time I was even writing the same ban in 2 different windows lol. So yeah, it took me quite a while to get anything done, so while I was doing it these quys squeezed in another post and I facepalmed  (The last ban was seriously a missclick, I wanted to give him a week :D) No big deal though, it was fun. Got to be extra careful with my "math" now because my street-cred is already at -25. I am going to get you guys back though.... | ||

Before this current ban though there was a single 2 day ban in November and a 2 week back in January (mod history that old with such a long break in between can generally be ignored). He had another 2 week in November 2011 which was extended after he tried to dodge it. Basically negligible mod history since his ban last January and yet continual delusions that he is being banned or in some other way oppressed or silenced. You've got to be fucking kidding me. Did you even read the thread, the posts in question? Or just one statement out of context? It is no mystery what happened. I can tell you all exactly why I was banned, post in question confirmed by two mods. These posts can all be found in ABL for yourselves if you think I'm bullshitting any of this. So here is what happened: 1) I make a passing joke in ABL. It was CLEARLY not an attack on the mods. If anything, I was poking fun at MYSELF. I repeated the same exact self depracating joke MDJ made in this thread. It was innocuous and would have been ignored if it was anyone else. 2) Kwark tries to turn the joke into an issue and starts attacking me. I've asked him to drop this issue before twice, that I didn't even want to discuss it, but he can't help himself apparently. The truth is Kwark is FAR more concerned with my supposed paranoia or problems with moderation than I am, bringing it up every chance he gets when I am actually AVOIDING the issue as much as I can. If you can't see that it was Kwark bringing it up, I don't know what to tell you, it's in the posts. So basically, Kwark tries to instigate a fight with me again for no reason. And he insults me while doing it for about the 20th time on these forums. 3) At this point, Falling comes into the thread and tells me to "let sleeping dogs lie." I was being attacked by Kwark for no reason at all, and he tells ME to "let sleeping dogs lie." 4) I had had my fill of bullshit. I quite justifiably told Falling to "put your own dog on a leash maybe." For that I was banned 30 days and threatened with a perm. Now for a little more history. Kwark has insulted and attacked me repeatedly, publicly on these forums. He has called me an idiot, moron, delusional, mental patient, retard (repeatedly), whack job, and about a dozen other things I can't even remember anymore. I have never once talked this way to anyone on these forums. Not other posters, not mods, not Kwark. I stick up for myself ONE time with a response that is incredibly mild in comparison, and I get punished hard for it. In other words, Kwark is allowed to repeatedly attack and insult me and I have to forever sit there and take it. Well no thanks, go ahead and fucking perm me. Why would I even want to keep the account, honestly? I can't even post like a normal person on these forums anymore. I did my honest best to stay out of trouble, but I won't continue to sit back with someone, a mod no less, instigating the issue and insulting me unprovoked. User was banned for this post. | ||
