When I was reading through that thread and got to Idra's post, I just imagined him sitting by his computer with an evil look on his face, smashing down his index finger on the "Idra button" and some "BOOM!" comes out of nowhere. It was really beautiful to read. Props to Idra :D | ||

grudgeStar was just temp banned for 30 days by Liquid`Nazgul. That account was created on 2010-07-28 00:13:32 and had 85 posts. Reason: In my opinion, the less Blizzard cares about E-sports -- the better. Here's the thing -- when making statements like this you know you are bound to piss people off. Now the thought itself is one you are allowed to have, however to post it as a one liner without bothering to explain yourself to everyone who disagrees, knowing there will be many of them, I consider detrimental to the site. Please learn on how to contribute to our forums. Wow....this is the only TL ban I've ever disagreed with lol. I get banning for one liner, but theres a difference between an unpopular opinion and a an inflammatory opinion. I don't see how this warranted longer then a 2 day ban. Sure, one liner, bad, I get it. But I've never seen that warrant longer then a 2 day ban unless the opinion being one lined was inflammatory. Saying "Blizzard is going to kill esports" would be inflammatory. Saying "Blizzard should stay out of esports", simply isn't. meh. Just because the opinion was unpopular doesn't mean it needed a harsher sentence, it really wasn't inflammatory at all. Its like saying "Starcraft 2 is a better esport then BW". Its an unpopular opinion, and might warrant a 2 day ban for onelining. But it isn't inflammatory. Inflammatory would be "BW is a terrible esport". | ||
