Lorch was just temp banned for 2 weeks by SirJolt. That account was created on 2011-06-27 17:58:17 and had 1271 posts. Reason: I was just going to warn, but you seem to have a long list of previous warnings and moderations. I was still considering just warning you (again), but then I reread your post advocating that people should never forget that TT1 is a hacker and that he should be banned from tournaments :/ I sense someone's got sour grapes over Spades. | ||

People who post utter crap should get moderated. Just because you're being civil but spouting nonsense that everybody else disagrees with (eg saying murder should be legal, an extreme example) doesn't mean that the person in question should be left alone. | ||

I was still considering just warning you (again), but then I reread your post advocating that people should never forget that TT1 is a hacker and that he should be banned from tournaments :/ I dont understand why he should get banned for this : S imo he is 100% right, there should be a 0 tolerance on hacking, maybe if they ladder hack then ban them for 5 years or something, but TT1 hacked in a tournament qualifier, ban him for life and blacklist him from EVERYTHING esports related. Hackers are the absolute scum of the earth, tt1 might be a nice guy IRL, but there is no excuse for hacking, and should be no forgiveness. | ||

Damn man...I am pretty sure there are worse people in the world than hackers on a game. Also, most of these hackers are/were just punk kids. This is like saying that a kid stole a toy from another kid on the playground, so therefore we should just lock him in prison, no forgiveness at all for something that they did as a dumb punk kid. I disagree entirely...while if you get caught cheating at a game, I have no problem with that league or whatever banning you, but to call them scum of the earth based on a mistake seems a bit overblown to me. Also, TT1 hacked in BW, not SC2 as far as anyone knows. It is a different game with different rules. Hell, baseball now has some of the most stringent cheating rules of any sport and even it forgives most offenses. Even if someone gets kicked out of baseball for cheating, it does not mean that person can't go play another sport professionally. I agree that tourneys and the ladder should have little or no tolerance for cheating, but 0% for the rest of your life is a bit harsh by ANY standard. | ||
