Will it be strange if I walk in alone and don't speak french? :p
Well you could really go there, a lot of people speak english there. And there is always one or two non French people. So not a problem People are really friendly there.

How do you even pronounce Jaedong in French? etc sorry guys @orange you only really need to learn three words: "bonjour" and "à boire!"
I don't like French casters for that reason because they speak frenglish (they even use english words for saying stuff that has no meaning in english) but you go there for the ambiance. Also there is sometime french caster or player there.

Honestly, just don't worry and get in! The majority of people there will be able to converse with you (we're not _that_ bad in english). And it's always nice to have foreign visitors!
Oh and looking forward to see Lelfe
I'll be there with all my "team" (i'm just their newser) so maybe see ya there :p
Hi, are children are allowed in there? I would love showing this place to my 5year old son who is a huge fan of sc2. I know that spending a whole evening wouldn't be a good idea. What are the opening hours for this place?

Well there is no law in France that can forbid you to take a child here but it will be really crowded (espetially since it's a launch party). You should ask the meltdown directly on facebook.
I cannot wait to be there and share this moment with lot of other fans. I hope to see lot of TeamLiquid forum member over there. by the way, I've tried the Jim Raynor cocktail last time and it was damn good !
Awesome! I ll be there!! Rude, it's been such a long time! Let s have a beer. Sadly I do not have a TL Tshirt so I guess I ll use my WCG hoody (this is about as esport as I can, sorry )

OHHHH NICE ! You should find me easily. I still have long hair and a KT Rolster hoodie :p I will surely be here quite late. If you see some Daerie member and a redhead girl with a Dearie team shirt, she's mine ! :p
i saw you logged out yesterday night. Was playing wow. We need to do a 2vs2 with powerfull build sometime... Do you still mass carrier in BW (old times :p) or do you only play SC2 now ?

Would not be worth being franchised if you're in China. You won't benefit efficiently from the network's PR and communication, you won't get help with suppliers, they most likely won't help training your Chinese speaking staff, and most importantly will be useless at getting the necessary guanxi which is the #1 thing you need to open a successful bar in China.
That being said, the concept of Meltdown is great and I have no doubt an e-sport bar could work here.
I remember a few years ago Ttesports sponsored a Barcraft in Shilin in New Taipei City, Taiwan. I'm not sure how successful it was since I was not in the country at the time, but if I don't really see a huge problem if you want to try to open one in Taipei. With the huge LoL scene spanning from middle school students to post graduates, I don't foresee a lack of customers either.
Also, with TeSL broadcasted every weekend, there's always local content to show!
All in all, I would reaaaally like something like this to happen, or even help with the process in any way that I could.
So... 3000 people went for the new meltdown in paris... but well, the place can hold only 300/400 people so you can imagine how this re-opening was a great success...
I think there is a video on the net with jjakji, stardust and mana dancing :D
