I feel like a lot of blue posters in sc2 strategy deserve it, or eventually will and should be considered (now or in the future), depending on how strict the criteria are. I only read the Protoss guides, but guys like Kcdc, CecilSunkure, Alej and NrgMonk specifically have written a LOT of really, really helpful guides for Protoss players, one can basically learn how to play the whole race just reading their guides. | ||

Which staff member is in charge of the forums (as well as the 'TL Bot')? I would very much like to have a word with him/her on the account that I received a PM warning which ultimately led to the TL Bot contradicting my 'crime' and literally calling me a dick. I am offended and shocked at the way the situation was handled and I demand to resolve this responsibly instead of being called names by the staff. Thank you for your time and any feedback that you wish to give me. | ||

When you receive a warning, it will either appear from the bot, or if we want to be personal, from the particular moderator who warned you. So to be clear, you were warned by a moderator. As to your warning, as far as I can tell from a quick glance, you were pretty much warned for being condecending towards another user. | ||

The user contradicted my post, admitted that he failed to read my entire comment, and I basically called him out on it. There's no reason to get indignant. Most users have probably got a warning at some point; it's okay, just move on. | ||

Thus I agree with the warning. The fact that you were warned alone is probably an oversight, based on what you describe. This is a large forum, and as much as we'd like to there is no way we can check everything. Mod reports helps us a lot, but there are probably 20-100 issues every day. And to be frank everybody are volunteers, thus we give the time we have, however much that is. And the last point; you were not called names. The warning you received simply stated that you were being a dick, an acceptable term for describing a condescending post. Enjoy your day | ||

Perhaps it is my fault though, that I had such high expectations about moral code from one of the most biggest, popular and active Starcraft 2 fansites. I'm not in any way telling you how to do your job and I'm certainly not telling you that you should treat every single member with smiles and kisses. If you don't care about the members or the quality displayed by staff, don't even say anything in the first place that would be considered inappropriate or schoolboy antics. Whether you realize it or not this community has a reputation, especially the people who operate it. | ||
