Most of our active SC2 staff play starcraft. Some old timers like myself rarely get to play these days, not for a lack of wanting but a lack of time among RL responsibilities.

What does the staff think of the 'ded gaem' sentiment, namely that StarCraft II is an imbalanced/broken/unworthy of BW/ and that the game is dying(declining significantly in popularity) as a result

people need to realise that this whole "ded gaem" talk is hurting the scene. Try imagining you're a potential sponsor, you go on TeamLiquid and you see all the "ded gaem" talk, why would you invest there when the community seems to think their game is dead? This isn't about SC2 vs BW or anything, these are different games with different mechanics, general goals ingame etc. A good part of the subjective downfall of SC2 is coming from the community itself, and it makes me sad seing the community destroying its own game

Reddit/other games absorbed a lot of the white-noise posters that we used to have. I don't mind the site being a little more quiet, means we can really get to know our community well
