My name is FireWater, and this is my first post on this forum. Just to give a little background about myself, I'm 29, Married, and in the field of Mental Health. I have been gaming competitively (FPS) for about 13 years. While I'm primarily an FPS gamer, I really enjoy watching Team Liquid's streams for SC2 action. I've always been a fan of RTS, I just don't have the aptitude for it. To make a long story short, I am in the FireFall Beta (a F2P MMO/FPS), and the developers plan on having a respectable eSports scene. I am very interested in participating in that scene, and I believe the key to a good eSports scene is the ability to livestream. My question to the TL staff is, what are ideal stream conditions? I want to stream 720p. My current rig is a i7 2600k, 16GB DDR3 1600, and a GTX 460 (which I plan on upgrading). My upload from my internet ranges from 6Mb to 8Mb. I was curious if my rig and connection were strong enough to run a respectable stream. And any additional tips would be fantastic. Also, I'm wondering in General how TL became the gold standard for anything SC/SC2 related. When did TL start to become huge? I apologize in advance if this is the wrong forum for this question, and I definitely appreciate you guys reading this.

Do you think that by adding a (or something similar to) "Likes This" feature you would be able to cut down on meaningless posts such as user 1 wrote: (quoted text) user 2 wrote: LOL. I was just thinking about it earlier today and it seemed like a good idea so I thought I would share it. posts like that get warnings and such, that's the mechanism to help cut down on stuff like that (so if you see them report them!). The like this thing has been brought up a few times in website feedback, I'm sure if you search around you can find why that kind of idea is bad for TL
