Allow me to elucidate. The first question was specifically for higher functioning, or "high spectrum". High functioning people can begin to seamlessly blend in with others at a young age, but the disorder often becomes a defining aspect of people's personality. For Asperger's, I often find that two characteristics often become obvious in the high spectrum, from personal experience, at least. These are the formation of fascinations and high intelligence. I myself am low in the high spectrum but have always been by far the smartest kid in my school and (aside from occasional kerfuffles like this one, apparently) blend in seamlessly. As such, please do not take my first question as a question of mental health, but rather a question pertaining to the aquisition of specific characteristics. Also, it would seem the monumental stupidity of the first question distracted attention from the second question. | ||
