And you know how people go on about "han solo shot first" .... that means that a lot of the extra stuff in the "remakes" was shit. There's youtube videos on the subject where they highlight each change and how it affects the narrative, most of the time poorly, like why do you have slapstick comedy elements just a few minutes after the protagonist loses the only family he has ever known? And also the 5th is the best. | ||

Open the sealed room with the two superhumans in it, because the toxic gas has surely killed them by now. Then shoot into the room! That's very sensible. Of course, the master Jedi, resourceful as ever, decide to hold their breath in the room filled with toxic gas. Fifteen minutes later, they reach into their robes for tiny oxygen tanks so they can swim to the Gungan city. Shame they didn't think to use those in the gasroom... That's just one example, but the film is riddled with silly decisions like that. It's basically brain poison. | ||
