Do find going #1 or #2 more satisfying? I prefer a good drunken #1 against a wall myself. Thoughts?

PS, please don't argue that MMA, DRG, and creator aren't up and coming players. They all got their start in the GSTL before they became big names. Emphasis mine. Higher than any other league? Do you think it better than Code S, particularly the later stages of Code S, then? What about the later stages of recent MLGs, particularly the Arenas?

What about the later stages of recent MLGs, particularly the Arenas? By game quality, I meant the games are more entertaining. You get a larger variety of games because of more players playing and different styles of play. Later stages of GSL/MLG probably produce higher level games, and have more star-power because of the players, but that's comparing later stages of individual leagues to lower stages of team leagues. I'd say later stages of team leagues produce about as equally entertaining games as later stages of individual leagues. But normal, lower stages of GSTL >>>>>>>>> normal, lower stages of individual leagues.

Don't know which other local events I used to go to... I went to some OSL finals parties and I went to a LAN in Edmonton once. That's about it! I don't post as much anymore because I'm busier and because TL has gotten so big that I don't often have anything to say that hasn't already been said several times. Ah ok, I just hadn't seen you post in a while, and I must have just missed you at the barcrafts. (although I didnt go to the one before Anaheim)

Partly because I'm a part of it, partly because the qualifiers are so interesting in discovering quality players we never knew about, partly because the preparation time leads to better games from everyone, partly because there's more time for the storylines to bear fruit and for the hype to build, partly because the quality of the tournament broadcasts has always been the best, and partly because of the history and nostalgia. Aside from TSL? Anything that Red Bull has done, then IPL TAC. The best way to contribute with little time is to simply post well. Updating Liquipedia and making good reports (after you get your button) are great too. But it's wonderful when people take it upon themselves to write articles or cover events, do interviews or crunch stats. That's the best kind of contribution, but there's nothing wrong with not being able to do it. Not everyone has the time, talents, or interest!

From Wiktionary: Eminent and imminent are very similar sounds, and are weak rhymes; in some dialects, these may be confused. A typo of either word may result in a correction to the wrong word by spellchecking software. Eminent may also be confused with immanent, immanant, or emanate. I guess the answer is soon™.

One of my meds screws with my vision, even risky to drive after I take it. That sparks a question, though. Any staff have particularly annoying prescriptions they're willing to share?

I guess it's something we try to achieve by having a pretty strict set of rules and enforcing them actively. Really bad/negative posters don't tend to survive here for very long, so you mostly get to see the smarter people, who understand that you can't have a good community anywhere without treating each other with respect, like decent human beings. It's always a struggle, though. Just look at the tension that sometimes exists between BW and SC2 players/fans, or the fact that even here, it's almost impossible to have a civil discussion about religion. Still, I'm very proud of this community. On July 02 2012 10:28 iamperfection wrote: Can you see what a user rated a blog or is it anonymous? Not as far as I know. No clue about the mousepads, you could send a PM to disciple, he's in charge of the TL store. Pretty sure at least most of us aren't robots, but we are selectively bred to have severe internet addiction and a complete disregard for any real-world affairs. *hisses violently as a ray of sunshine briefly hits my neck, huddles closer to monitor* On July 02 2012 13:09 Archas wrote: What exactly is Chill's role on staff?
