Hey everyone!
My name is Sarana and I'm here to announce on behalf of the University of British Columbia StarCraft Club of our brand new sponsor as well as the upcoming exciting Clubs Days events!
First off, UBCSC just recently signed an endorsement contract with Made in Print, Vancouver's best print shop. Our alliance with them allows us to print delicious-looking promotional materials in high quality colour at a reasonable price! In fact we have just ordered our membership and the result pretty much speaks for itself! Please visit our sponsor website this month at http://www.madeinprint.ca and receive the limited time only student discount rate. Get your hands-on time with your member card later week and see for yourself.
That brings us to our second announcement, starting this Wednesday we will be selling UBCSC membership during UBC clubs days (Wed-Fri). So if you live close to Vancouver lower mainland area, do come down to get down with us at the Student Union Building Courtyard!
For $10 you will get a standard membership, which allows you to join our events for free and our tournaments at a discounted fee for the whole school year. And for just $20 you will score yourself a PREMIUM membership with us, which on top of regular member benefits it grants you an employee discount at Canada leading computer retailer MemoryExpress. A discount of this proportion is unheard of especially coming from a student organization.
Still not convinced why you should come to our booth this week? We are more than excited to let you know that we are inviting all the local talents to come out and display their skills (or the infamous KJI build) LIVE at our booth! Thats coLStalife/steak, coLFireZerg, ValiditySAGA, tQWannaBe, and tQtyrAnt.
We are also giving more swag, running a raffle contest for GSL shirts signed by MC NADA MKP, and showing GSL VODs for free! This year, we are making sure to bring UBC the nerdiest sick baller booth and there is no doubt about it.
So please, do swing by, pick up your swag, win your prize, be a member and save e-Sports. I would like to give a shoutout for our brother/sister club, UBC MathClub. Please go visit their booth as well.
(Also, UBC Taiwan Association and UBC Japan Association.)
