It's Gosu eSports is happy to return to the realm of live events, as we will be hosting our third SC2 LAN tournament the first Saturday of September. This time, we will be hosting the tournament and doing an open house at a brand new LAN center, Netolic.
As part of the festivities, It's Gosu eSports players GoSu.HwangSin (TL Open #16/18 winner, former member of MVP), GoSu.SonKiE (Warcraft 3 legend), and GoSu.wbc (top 35 at MLG Columbus, 21st overall at MLG Anaheim) will be on hand to meet and hang out with fans.
Additionally, we will be doing a cookout with hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks and many other foods to kick off the tournament and get to know everyone with a passion for Starcraft II and eSports! Come out and participate in the tournament, or spend a day with us and get to know the It's Gosu crew!

Prizes:
Approxmiately $300 or more (assuming at least 30 sign-ups)
Cost for tournament participation: $20 (Includes food and PC usage until 8PM. $10 goes to LAN and $10 to prize pool)
Cost for Casual Play: $10 (Include food and PC usuage until 8PM. $10 goes to LAN)
Schedule:

Tournament: 1:00PM - 8PM

HwangSin lives in Korea so approximately a gazillion miles to get to the LAN center  . He actually will be in DC this Wednesday night. Then he and the IG team will be traveling to MLG Raleigh on Thursday. Afterwards, he and wbc will be in VA for another week before they both fly back home.

Hahaha I like how food is scheduled. Looking forward to see how the new Netolic turned out. I've been practicing a lot since I'm going to MLG this weekend, so hopefully I'll do well this time
Also, sorry for being off topic. I don't know where i would post this, but I was wondering if anyone going to MLG Raleigh would like to room/split hotel bill with me and another person(Muffley) for two nights. If we got two other people it would make it $50 for both Friday and Saturday night. If anyone going is interested just shoot me a PM. Thank you!

Desk space is not too bad I don't think. This place has better AC and doesn't smell like smoke either. We'll be having a room to ourselves for this tournament so it should be better.

man, this LAN sounds amazing. The awesome and sexy ItsGosu guys, the Hypercrew people, and all of my DC nerd lovers. Such a shame that I'm missing it. The next one I'm game though!

Where are all the DC/VA/MD SC2 players? I know we can get more sign-ups than this . Hypercrew will be there this weekend to help cast which will be great. And we got someone to bring brownies too!!! So come on out and support the local tournament scene.

yeah you need to park and go through the back entrance and up some stairs through a hallway, at least thats the only way I know how to get there.

This LAN was really awesome! Grats to Rob for making it to the finals. Like everyone else is saying, netolic is REALLY nice. It's seriously the nicest LAN center I've been to. Very clean.

By the way chris i saw This While i was at the lan center... I loled very hard, although i dunno how i managed to miss u doing it in person, i was around u a lot, that weekend and i saw u practicing but i never saw any one recording.. u did a very good job ninjaing in to those tight clothes T.T

Wow, there were some really great games played in this tournament. Congrats to HwangSin (1st), LuckyFool (2nd), and wbc (3rd). Thanks to everyone that showed up, Hannah for making the brownies (yummmy), Zyori for help casting this event, and CaucasianAsian for approving the event on the TL calendar .
