For one thing, I don't think it says anywhere that it's 50RMB for two tickets because the post just says price: 50RMB (max two per account). And even if you fail to get VIP tickets tonight (god I hope years of F5'ing LR threads will pay off), you can enter three sweepstakes/competitions for a remote chance to win tickets/memorabilia/games with the players. I think they run till around July 29th. I don't have time to translate everything but people shouldn't have too much trouble if they understand some Chinese. http://bbs.gamefy.cn/forum.php?mod=viewthread&tid=175291&extra=page=1IMO, everyone should go vote for bisu -> bisu wins poll -> chance to win ticket + bisu memorabilia -> chance to play games with bisu http://bbs.gamefy.cn/vote/Probably too late to get new cheerfuls into this competition but you can still vote for your favorite one. http://bbs.gamefy.cn/spl/10 easy trivia questions that will enter you into a sweepstakes for a ticket/memorabilia as long as you get 6/10.
Hi qwertysucks (where are you from btw ? qwerty is used almost everywhere in the world)
Yeah the original announcement in Chinese is confusing as hell... It's probably 50rmb each, but the main point was that every ID can get two tickets (ie : - get two per ID if you can, give to other TLers if you don't need them all. - everyone will buy two tickets, so if there are 500 tickets to sell, there will be only 250 transactions, so you'd better F5 non stop from 7.50 PM) And even if you buy two tickets, I think you'll get only one t-shirt.
Regarding the other ways to get tickets, they gave some during the weekend when the semis were playing but this contest is over.
The favorite player vote is almost impossible to win, but as you said Bisu is a safe bet, and even if your chances to win are slim to none, getting a VIP moment with Bisu is everyone's dream (maybe not Mustaju's but he must be the only one), and it costs nothing, so it's worth trying.
Edit : do not vote for Bisu, Jaedong is destroying the poll with 47% of the votes so far, I guess another community got the same idea as us to vote for the same player. If you want to have a chance, vote Jaedong (1500 entrants so far 700 voting for JD, 160 lucky winners will get autographs, maybe signed goods, it's not very clear, and 8 of them will enter a winner's draw)
The cheerful sounds really difficult, but it's true that we have extremely gosu MSPaint skills here at TL, so it might be worth trying.
I already participated the SPL trivia with the two ID numbers I got. They picked 10 questions out of maybe 30 and in a random order, so I can't provide the answers, and I'm against that anwyay. Don't hesitate to PM me if anyone needw help to translate a trivia question though. Chinese ID is required, and will probably be asked when claiming the tickets, so don't waste your time if you don't have one or the person you borrowed one can't be there to claim the tickets if you win.
Thanks qwertysucks for the additions.

gg ! I got two as well, but what's weird is they charged 10 RMB for delivery fee.... Trying to get 2 more for other TLers now.
edit : LOL sold out 2 minutes later...
Message says that the sale is closed for now but they may resume it later. They offer to reserve up to two tickets, not sure of how that works given that we are probably thousands to try to buy tickets. Anyway, I bought two, and booked two more that I will probably not get.
Damn that was intense, bank of China website crashed twice while processing payment and it worked the third time. fuck yeah !

Wow, I f5ed starting at 7:50 and I still didn't get a ticket...

Yeah I almost didn't make it because apparently firefox + ietab is good enough for the stupid payment websites all the way up till the last bit where they actually process payments.
With the delivery fee, I think there's every possibility that they are going to send an actual ticket that you need to bring with you to reclaim the real tickets, which begs the question why they wouldn't just mail the real thing, T-shirt and all, in the first place.
So anyone else get tickets?

Yeah, well i wasnt able to get ahold of my chinese friend in time, so i wasnt able to get a ticket. I will still be in shanghai, so does that mean i will not be able to watch the finals? or for the standing tickets, will there be something there later (at the place, before the event to get them). Or how does this work?

I think the "free" tickets are sold out too. In any case you still wouldn't be able to get them w/o a chinese friend since it also costs 10RMB for "delivery". TBH I think there'll be plenty of second-hand tickets on chinese equivalent of e-bay in the coming days at marked-up prices.
You might still want to enter those bonus events in the OP with a valid ID because ~10 tickets per ~2000ish entry is worth it IMO.

Oh by the way, did you understand that winner's draw for 8 lucky winners ? It was really confusing. Only thing that was clear, is that they will pick 160 winners for tickets, and so far 750 people voted for JD, and it's almost sure that JD will be selected, so that makes 160 tickets for 750 people at the moment. Definitely worth it.

I think it's 160 signed items and 8 tickets to be won. Since there are literally items from every playoff qualifying team, I don't think they limit them to those who has voted for the most popular player. It's different for tickets because one of those lucky eight can go on and actually play a game with the player.
Here's the thing though, originally JD wasn't even on the list because they only put up players from playoff qualified teams. They only added JD due to overwhelming feedback. So I'm not sure if they are actually flying him out here to the finals (would be sweet if that's the case though).
In any case I still voted Bisu because I'm a SKT fan and zerg anti-fan for life.
Edit: Well I skimmed forum posts to see if anyone asked these pedantic questions but I guess nobody cares There are so many Chinese BW forums but none of them are half as useful as the TL BW section.

After voting, they display the results, and JD is literally destroying the poll with 47% of the votes. I guess a rival community like wfbrood agreed to vote JD to increase their chances. Then I used my wife's account to vote for JD. I'm an SKT fan too and I hate zerg too, but well, after voting with my first account and seeing JD with 47% of the votes, voting Bisu would just be pointless.
I'm not sure about your interpretation, I think they restrict the entrants to those who voted for the winning player, otherwise, whoever you vote for, you would still have a chance to win. I also think it was 160 signed items, but that includes mice signed by ZerO, shirts signed by Flash, etc. 160 seems a little too much, but well, I wouldn't mind eh !

Bumping because Gamefy shop just modified the conditions to redeem the tickets
According to : http://www.gamefy.cn/topic/spl/view_10436.html
Quick translation :
Yesterday, tickets for the SPL Finals were sold out within 10 minutes. Gamefy would like to thank you for your support. Due to the scorching weather and safety reasons, tickets will be delivered to you directly. Tickets will be sent within two or three working days, so please bear with us. A delivery number will be issued in your gamefy member space.

Tickets that haven't been paid for after 24hrs will go back into the system so there may be some more tonight. But I doubt that because there are people in the comments saying they had their orders forcibly cancelled after 5 min before they could pay. They called up the customer hotline and was told tickets go to those who can pay the fastest. LOL
What a mess.

Yeah it doesn't make much sense, because if you wouldn't pay straight when ordering, the order would automatically be canceled.

That's speculation on my part. What gamefy (company doing all this) did say is that yes, there will be a showmatch with the player voted most popular on their site. Now for this to work, the poll only had star players from the six teams that made the playoffs. But then I guess JD fans made some noise and gamefy said they are including JD "after discussion with the Korean side". Who knows if that's just some signed souvenirs or they'll actually fly him out too.
Edit: I should clarify this is only a problem because JD is destroying the poll atm. If Flash or Bisu won, they'd already be there so it's not an issue.

They usually have all-star showmatches before the finals. Usually 12 or so guys play either singles, 2v2 and a 3v3.

Oh that makes so much sense, that's why JD is destroying the poll of the favorite players ! I was really surprised since in China Bisu is by far the most popular progamer.
That would be awesome indeed.

Bumping this because according to http://spl.gamefy.cn/view_10563.html the left-over tickets will be up for grabs again on Friday, July 29th at 8pm. It's the same procedure as before so read the OP and spam F5 on shop.gamefy.cn when the time comes!

Especially because he looks like that one actor who was in some popular TV shows about dynastic times (but now has ended up in a giant Lipton Tea ad found going up from the escalators from the Metro Line 2 in the People's Square station...have you seen it? It's the one where he and some random girl both buy tea in a convenience store and both offer to pay).
