On Shakuras Plateau, pulled out probes the instant I was building a hidden pylon just outside of his base. He had no vision of anything. No suspicious camera movements, though often freezing. Sent a probe and guessed my spawn right away. 2 gate proxy rush. I built my my stuff a bit to the right in my base. Do look at the minimap from his point of view from 1.14-1.20, scrolling over my stuff, that is kind of suspicious. You can also see (from his point of view) that my probe "leaves" his base 2.50. He does not see it returning and luckily hunts it down at 3.40. That can of course happen if the intention is just scouting the base to be sure, or even placing a pylon in the back. However, all and all together, very suspicious!! | ||

Kind of suspiicious camera movement to me!! :D :D | ||

Clicks to send his scv cross position to where my main is. 5:01 - SCV scout sees 1 ling going to poke up ramp, instantly makes a 2nd bunker 5:07 - SCV dies to 7 lings At this point I decide to make a hatchery cause I figure it'll be futile to attempt a bane bust. I realize I'm also behind so I say screw it, gonna try anyway and cancel hatch. 6:13 - He still hasn't scouted anything, my main, my tech, etc. All he knows is that I have a small handful (7-9) lings. As soon as my banelings start morphing, he instantly makes a 3rd bunker 6:21 - Still hasn't seen anything, production tab shows 13 banes being morphed, he makes now a 4th bunker at his mineral line 6:27/9 - Camera slides to his bottom ramp passing over where my lings/banes are morphing and then jumps back to his main And then I go for the bust, question his actions cause it seems like something is up, proceed to replay and seems pretty obvious that he's hacking. He then messages me after the game trying to deny any sort of hacking, he claims blindly making bunkers is goes with his "bunker timing" because they're salvageable. I question why he clicked to send his scv cross position where I was, he says "I sent that scv to scout close position not cross" (Lie as you see in replay). The scouting scv + no scouting yeah looks like a hack(but remeber we are not talking about pros-master lvl+ play). When i started playing noticed that a lot of players all in at lower divisions. So if i see really fast speedling= bunker, if i noticed more then 4 speedlings outside my base= PANIC= 5 bunkers , my macro will own him. Trust me baneling busts/roach rush you are not the first to do it  . So in conclusion maybe it NEEDS REVIEW but i think he was a noob that got baneling busted so many times :D , i know i've been there | ||

I trust in TL's manpower GLHF. I find it sad that the topic starter believes things so easily and accuses people unjustly without double checking. I reviewed his winstreak and it's clear he is just a smurf. If you take the time to look at the build orders he makes units and ends the game quickly. All his opponents were bronze or silver during that streak and he is currently in high platinum. I hope you will take the time to double check in the future. Because it is clear that he does/did not deserve to be banned from these forums. Edit: Better yet, I have asked Imperfect.459 for replays of his winstreak and he is currently trying to get his hands on them. | ||

Even with map hacks I have no idea how he got into Masters. He bmed at the beginning so I decided I was gonna cheese him with some dts. Which was a terrible choice as he's a map hacker. When he stopped it I thought I was so far behind, so I expand with not enough units to hold off any sort of attack and think I'll dt harass my way back in. No attack comes, so I breath a little easier. But, I figure damn, he double expanded better harass, harass fails too as he map hacks the prism. But the good news is he's still on 2 base with less drones than me... I was dumbfounded. That was the moment I knew he was maphacking, I realized how bad he was, he didn't scout my base, and he countered dts. So I scout all roaches no hydra den, I mass immortals and stalkers like normal and the dude starts pumping corrupters. This is when I start doubting he's map hacking, why the fuck did he build corrupters. Well naturally after I destroy that army I expect BLs, so I a scrambled to drop 3 stargates and hope my voids come out in time. He rolls up with hydras roach inferstor, with his corrupters still doing shit. At this point i kick my self for not scouting better and instead assuming the fool would be logical and go bls. My suspicion rises again at this point. No problem I keep my voids back so the corrupters have nothing to attack again, and start pumping colossi. At this point he's on 1 1/2 bases and I'm three and it's not a contest. Long story short he played so badly BMed so hard, yet was in masters so I knew he had to be map hacking. | ||

I usually just do some stupid all-in on bad ZvT maps to get it over with (win or lose). The timing of the bunkers is what tells the tale though as I pointed out in my analysis. And also when he runs his camera into the fow over my banes. Like going back to my post and comparing to what you said.... if i see really fast speedling= bunker, if i noticed more then 4 speedlings outside my base= PANIC= 5 bunkers I agree, this is normal, if a Terran is feeling unsafe after seeing some speedlings running around, they'll make bunkers ASAP...but that's not the case in the replay. At 5:07 is when he sees that small handful of speedlings...however he waits over a minute to make those extra bunkers. During that minute I had started a hatchery, then I canceled it to proceed with the all-in. As soon as my banes started morphing he threw down bunkers 3 & 4 and soon after slides camera over/past where my units are. | ||

The reason I'm not so sure he's maphacking is because your probe comes within vision of his hatchery after the last pylon. He clicks your probe, and then it goes back into the FOW on his camera, and he loses his selection of your probe. If he was maphacking, he would have had your probe selected through fog...but your probe vanishes, he loses selection, and then goes back to select a hatch. I'm just going to leave this up for review but I don't think he's hacking. edit: after watching the other Roscoe replay I'm pretty mindf'ed on this one. Please watch them both and let me know. If you removed the first sentence entirely, it would have been a perfectly good post. Like I've said countless times - I'm not 100% perfect and I never will be, which is why people are SUPPOSED to go and take a look at what is being posted in here REGARDLESS of what me / arb / anyone else thinks. I always watch replays even when 5 people say "oh man confirmed cause of this that this" I don't believe things easily, and disc hacks are something that I've not had a lot of experiences in "proving". Which I now have a good idea of how to go about finding them out. So thanks for that, but next time just make the post without that first sentence. I'd appreciate it. I'll take him off the list - if it were up to me we wouldn't include drophacks - and trust your info. However, the screenshots that Canucks provided don't show what you are talking about - Most of those games have "No Actions" in them in the timeframe that he posted. If you notice I didn't put KnY on the list because I was unsure how to confirm drophacks - Why don't you take a look at his matches and let me know what you think about that, since you're better at drophacks than I am - and that's not meant to sound smartassy, even though it probably will anyways. Haha. He moved like 4 of the SCVs and then hit stop and they all stopped then missed the minerals again. Then he misrallied his CC and moved all his SCVs off minerals by accident xD I'm not going to call this one hacks - I will put it up for review but my opinion is that there is no maphack here. Where was he confirmed? Season 1 thread? I watch the first playthrough of all reps from the hacker's point of view. And I knew what base you were at without ever scouting you - his SCV spotted your SCV leaving your base. I guess you could argue that you might have really early scouted it and was just leaving - but from this rep I can't call hacks. Maybe if more people chime in or have other replays I will change my mind, but I think he's clean. Maybe his crummy SCV split prompted him to cheese. Haha. Blind counters and scouts DTs around on the map, as well as pauses the game around 13:30ish and pans around his opponents base to size up his army. Blind scouts and kills a hidden DT near his third/fourth...very suspicious on this one. I'm pretty convinced on this second replay but give them a watch and let me know what you think. Everything to me says too lucky, maphack. The evo chamber and spore crawler in front of his base and within 20 seconds of the first colossus coming out he puts down a spire and without hesitation pumps out corruptors. Sjow. :p Thanks, I was pretty sure he was a maphacker based on the second game alone. Just kind of odd in the first game. Maybe even when people are maphacking they lose selection on units that cross into what would be the fog? Maybe I'll find a guest account and play vs myself and see how some of this works firsthand. There are ones that lock the replay camera at a position while you peruse your enemy and then when you move your units again, returns the replay to normal. So this is another thing to look for, it wont be conclusive at all. Because they might be doing any number of things that cause their camera to stand still for a few seconds, but it might allow for further evidence in a case.
