The president of Bulgaria will probably have no impact on my life, but I can certainly understand it's a bigger deal than say, my father getting a promotion. It might be difficult to list things perfectly from an objective standpoint on something as silly as this conversation is revolving around, but doing so doesn't suddenly make TL some hypocritical website that requires a user-revolution. Do you even think of the things you talk about? The concept in which you are talking about, IE a big deal is completely subjective to the person. I prioritize the smiles and happiness of children over that of a pageant that at least on the outside represents things that are horrifically wrong with the world. I know my perspective is not just my own as well. Bringing in personal attacks upon someone who merely mentioned the breach of rules and cited an example to show that veteran users are not above that rule baffles me. This is not about a user revolution, it is about maintaining a consistent stance on rules. I understand that you view my opinion is worthless, but perhaps you should look past your own opinion and consider this. How many people here would actually vote or consider Miss USA if not for this thread? For something that is a big deal to you, you will find isn't one to the mass majority of people. As for your example of comparing an elected official to a job promotion i just dont get you. They are two completely different issues on all bases. The ones currently discussed are still two competitions.

If you have some real amazing agenda to get this thread closed then take it to the website feedback section plz. Hehe, iNcontroL asking people to stay on topic - I find this mildly amusing ![]() jk Hope you make it Anna, you had my vote! I actually thought that Miss USA voting was for U.S. residents only, I had no problem voting though.

I would have to write a 1,000 word article to explain the significance it would have, and if i really have to I will. I feel this should be featured news but that is just me lol. thats absolutely correct, when you have an institution like miss usa that has one of their contestants getting support from esports, its going to raise a few eyebrows, which will be awesome :D

Profile for this person is under the age of 23, likely white (statistically, more whites have access to the internet, otherwise, this profile description is meaningless), most likely uneducated. Could be suffering from a birth defect known as ugliness combined with its untreatable symptoms of jealousy. Probably suffers from withdrawal and bullying (the real life kind), but not from school bullies. The source of this bullying is likely from close family friends and relatives who just don't understand why this person is so rude, bad manner, and insignificant. This hurts the profiled even more, causing them to get on a nice forum, e.g. TeamLiquid, create an account, and make ridiculous statements. In real life, this person would get thrown out of the bar, not let into any parties, stay single for the rest of his(most likely male) life, among other social consequences fitting for his age. Anna fighting. Geoff, we all love you. Always use you as an example of the progression of e-sports. "He's super ripped, he's amazing at SC2, he went to college, and he's dating a potential Miss USA, Anna!" Great job in the NASl btw. Anna, you weren't on state of the game this week, although it was on a weird day. ![]()

I know damn sure if incontrol PM'd me asking me to do interviews with high level players I would do it in a heart beat. I know if Day9 PM'd me and asked me cast a game with him I would do it in a heart beat. It feels the only difference between her and most of the people on these forums is most of the people on these forums don't have the connections with the right people to do what they truly want to do, where as just because this woman is incontrols girlfriend she is able to get so much publicity and therefore it seems like she cares so much for the community.

Is the only reason people on TL care about her is because she has done interviews for MLG or has done SC2 stuff before? Also, is this only the case because she's with incontrol and therefore is able to do this. Honestly to everybody saying she does so much for the community, if you could get easily put into a position to do just as much for the community who wouldn't. I feel the only reason she does SC2 at all is because incontrol is such a symbol in the community that it easily allows her to do whatever she wants. I know damn sure if incontrol PM'd me asking me to do interviews with high level players I would do it in a heart beat. Its a attractive woman... enjoying starcraft 2 and not pretending or being paid too sit their and enjoy it. (Not yet anyway i know shes gotten a lot of job offers for certain things)The real problem right now with Starcraft 2 and eSports in general in the United States is "I play games professionally is NOT A PICK UP LINE." Or "i play video games professionally... (Some dude behind you) NERD!" Her winning and having a boyfriend as a professional gamer has the possibility of the rest of the united states saying "oh so playing video games gets you supermodel's" I work out 6 days a week as a bodybuilder and I've never been comfortable with being open as a starcraft 2 player to girls (That is part me i realize) Its just one more step in eSports being socially acceptable. EDIT: She doesn't even have to talk about Starcraft 2. It will be known to the public that she does have a boyfriend that plays games for a living because she will then be a celebrity and that is some gosip for the "Magazines or w/e girls read"
