If you are under 21, you need to be present with a "guardian" (someone 25 years of age or older.) There can be 5 minors for every guardian. Please make sure you find someone over 25 to get you in if you plan on coming. Stuff is quite expensive there, but you don't have to buy anything if you just want to hang out. Everyone should come!

Just a question, why Dave & Buster's? Because it's suitable for under-aged folks? That place is kind of notoriously crowded (at least the ones on Long Island are). Regardless, it'd be a nice chance to meet up with fellow StarCraft fans. (Instead of sitting at home raging over my extreme losing streak lately and having 75% of my matches be ZvZ... !)

At Dave and Buster's the older people can drink, which is a must, and the younger crowd can still get in and hang out. Also, the last one was on a Wednesday night in which games were half price and there wasn't much of a crowd to deal with. This was the case in September, hopefully it's still the case. Its also a centralized location for people coming from Jersey and the 5 Boroughs.
I'll be coming unless it's the week between Christmas and New Years, I'll be out of town that week.

You obviously don't know how Dave and Busters works. If you're under 21, they won't even let you in unless someone over 25 (a "guardian") vouches for you. It has nothing to do with the OP enforcing maternal instincts.

The last few times I've been to D&B (both in midtown and in long island) they have checked everyone's ID with the scanner thing. I don't know if fake ID's work with those, but I haven't tried. I don't go with a young looking a group either.

Only a couple per year ? You're already having one in Jan, that means only one more for the rest of 2011 .
I'll order a TeamLiquid shirt when I get home tonight in case I can go to the Jan 15 one. Hopefully I can switch to dayshift in the next few months or so, my Dave and Busters card is so old I'm not sure if it even works anymore.

Better order it ASAPly, they take a bit to get delivered. And there's no set number per year, If you wanted to hold one every day for the next year, nobody's actually stopping you. XD

Fun get together, now we jst need to find the HQ and give hot bid all the stuff we won. Still think that waffle maker would have been handy. It was only like 12 guys i think? but it was convenient for keeping everyone located and placeable. Thogh more people should have come drinking with us after!

Was a lot of fun, despite having to be lame and ditch the earliest out of everyone. I was the guy sitting across from bumatlarge. My bnet ID and character code are both up there for anyone wanting to get a few games in.
