Hi! Judy from Eudemonia here. I'm talking to management about hosting a Starcraft party this Friday!
What: watch the GSL S2 Finals on the projector with a bunch of other nerds!! EEE SPOOORRTSS!!!
When: on the night after this Friday, Nov. 12 (so the night between Friday and Saturday). The GSL will be live at 1am our time (thanks NoRoo and Lovedrop!). We'll also be at Eudemonia hanging out all Friday night playing Starcraft.
Festivities will begin at midnight.
Where: at Eudemonia! gmaps link. In the middle of the night, there will be street parking aplenty. Street parking will be free because the meters stop at 6pm. The last BART into Berkeley gets in at around 12:30am, and the first BART out of Berkeley on Saturday mornings is 6am. =D

* $5 at the door
* plus optional $10 for a computer pass that goes midnight-8am
* plus optional $5 for pizza (west coast delivers until 2am on fridays)
* If you buy the whole $20 package, you get 2 free fridge drinks
* also--if you buy the whole $20 package, you get $2 off the "night owl pass".... so if you want to get here early and start playing, you can play on the computers from 6pm to 8am + watch gsl + pizza for a total of $30.
If we get enough people, we'll do our own mini-tournament or koth =) either before or after watching the finals! At the very least we can get some inhouse run kitty run going.
This finals party might be smallish, but it'll still be fun, and I'm definitely going to organize more GSL-watching parties in the middle of the night in the future... I have really high hopes of getting the SF Bay Area community together to watch tournaments all the time =D

Hmmm... I thought this belonged in TL Community because it's a community event.
The last TL event that we hosted was run by suppy http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=131413 ... and that was posted in TL Community too, haha.
Pretty sure nouveaux, doublekicks, longshot and i will be hanging out all Friday night. Not sure what time (maybe as early as 7pm?). But "official" festivities will definitely begin at midnight. The all-night special pass that Eudemonia's having just for the GSL finals will begin by midnight. What time are you thinking? =D
We're also prepared to stay until 8am if people are down to keep playing =D

Alas! Next time, acie. I am DEFINITELY gonna do it for s3. I even want to do it as early as Ro64, but we have to figure out if that is possible, since they're on random days of the week. It's easier to do them on Friday nights. haha
I'm gonna buy some microwave popcorn. LOL

I just made cupcakes. I am going to bring decorative icing so that we can draw marines and banelings on them. They're chocolate cupcakes though, so maybe we won't be able to see them. Maybe I should get some powdered sugar so we can make stencils and pour the sugar on top.....

Also in this video: we observe some protoss in their natural habitat talking about the fine art of cannon rushing on metalopolis. Crowds form around people playing their mini-tournament games. Elvin is mistaken about my camera being on "still shot" mode. Chris plays his FIRST-EVER LADDER GAME, CHEER FOR HIM! Fritz in the Zerg shirt has a sparkling smile. The video ends with Judy, Elvin, and Fritz showing off their sweet, sweet matching race icon shirts, except Mike L, who I handed the camera to, also thinks the camera is in normal mode, so it gets cut off. But you can kind of see me at the end. LOL
