actually i think i can figure that one out... real question: why do some mods have the admin blue bar? does it just mean they are an admin instead of a mod, and if so, what's the difference between a mod and an admin?

Is there a reason for not having "joined since" date next to the "Amount of post" number that's displayed next to the name? I think it would be awesome to see how long people have been a member right next to the name instead of just amount of posts because that alone, just posts can be misleading.

An Admin is the highest "level"; they can do everything a mod can do, plus a few extra things (such as promote/demote other users to different levels for example), and also are generally involved with site finances and the 'really big decisions'. Since they are the most involved members, their words carry the most weight as "official" TL representation, and the blue bar is to help make that distinction a little more obvious.

Click on the "Profile" link between "PM" and "Quote". You'll be able to see when that user joined.

Did you ever hit the "Profile" button next to someone's name? -_-

Admins have a higher degree of access to the website and their decisions generally carry more weight. They 'represent' tl more than the other staff due.
