It's was really fun the MC (frigate?) was really funny and made the event for me. The technical setup and scheduling was good. I feel like more crowd involvement would have helped. The balance debate was really great between sets actually, in the future I think you should have more stuff like that, or even take the mic around and get people to introduce themselves.

Thank you! heh I just go by Galleon

Ya I really want to get more people into it, the mics are not wireless so they don't go past the first few rows. I'm going to keep working on more ways to get the crowd into, I know you've been a ton of events so if you have any ideas fire'em at me PLEASE Everyone else too.

Great idea to just try to come up with lots of reasons end up with dozens of peopel coming and introducting themselves as they particiate in whatever game/discusion!!

It was great to meet you man, I thought you did a great job MC'ing the whole thing. (I was the guy in the white shirt who said that zerg needed lurkers, by the way).

Respect to chromate for putting the whole thing on!

I tried to take a bunch of pictures, but they turned out very poorly because of the light. Hopefully that cameraman got some good footage. If anyone sees us on the news, please share with the rest of us!

I do have some nice footage, not as much that I wanted to though. I wasn't filming it for the news, so don't bother watching too much TV Final result will be up soon.... maybe 1 or 2 weeks.

Hi you, Im Mr. light my filter first. I had lots of fun with that friendly banter between us and I hope you enjoyed some of that BW last night.

I want to make a case for meeting up at the loon sooner, its a lot less noisy and crowded then the local, it is also less expensive and you can actually buy pitchers there. The place also has more seats, we ended up putting some tables together and had like 10 people. I think anyone who was there would agree with me that we got some mingling done. It would definetly be nice to have more people get together there before heading down to the theatre. A lot of us even had a nice buzz leaving that place, although you sounded pretty coherent on the mic lol. Another thing is we definetly should bring our own booze to the theatre, as some people (Oracle lol) were complaining over no beer once inside.

It was nice having Chill down here even though a lot of us didnt get to meet you with the late appearance and all. Hopefully if you end up making the trip again we will get some more drama out of you and Combat, you dodged a bullet though as he is a bit of a different guy with a shot of alcohol in him and the waitress refused to serve him that night.

Eric? I dont know your TL Id or remember if that is your name but the guy who found rolling joints more worthwhile then the gsl finals, big thanks bro. Also your little asian girl being raped version of the backho hwaiting cheer is the best hands down.

I actually ran out of cash and didnt donate this time so I dont know if I should be giving suggestions on donations lol, but I still think it be better if you guys took down Id's of those who donated it would seriously bring the generosity out of everyone.

So ya here are my suggestions:

1. Find a place to get together sooner like 3-4 hours before gsl, I really liked the loon
2. bring a few cases of beer to the theatre id actually be interested in taking care of this if a couple of others want to help out, presumed that its all right with chromate and other organizers as I know technically we not suppposed to bring any
3. can we keep lights on at all times
4. and in my humble opinion please play some kpop's

Personally I suggest we meet earlier to play more exhibition matches.

For instance, UW vs UofT . or casting semi-final to final of tournament.

I really enjoyed playing, but was also sad that some of the good players didnt get to play too. (and I wanted to play bo3 or bo5 games against slained) I personally suggest we meet earlier.

The GSL itself was pretty unimpressive with MVP just making a joke of MarineKing. That being said I had a great time watching all the funny games with CombatEx and HD and the more serious SlaineD and Behko games. Cant really remember everything that happened that night :D

Easy way to get people to be more social: make it so people HAVE to have gone to a bar before.

I thought that was ridiculously fun. The actual GSL games were a bit disappointing but the combatex vs HD games easily made up for it. Hope they can get this going again next time :D.

Kpop is definitely a requirement

Erics TL id is bondi(i2) i think

yes no beer in the theatre was a downer, but eric was passing a mickey around anyways

his rape voice was DEFINITELY the highlight of the night

the loon was awesome, wouldve been better if more showed up.

and yeah 3 pitchers between 3 ppl, definitely left the bar with a niceee buzz

that was a fun night. so many laughs, especially on the mission back to ur place LOL

Hi, I attended the event in Toronto last night but found myself aghast at the general behavior of attendees and the organizers. The degree to which certain individuals were swearing, shouting inappropriate comments, and overall acting like abominable 13-year-olds who cannot hold their liquor left me frustrated...my friends and I left early to watch the finals at home.

The rules outlined in the TL ten commandments and on internet forums in general carry over into real life. Next time I hope people remember that as representatives of TL.net and of e-sports in general, it is our duty to conduct ourselves in a respectful and mature manner.

[edit] for clarification, many of the people I spoke to were indeed interested in the games themselves and on sharing enthusiasm for high level starcraft. i suspect there was only a small handful of people who decided it was appropriate to conduct themselves like callow internet trolls. TL;DR: rl isnt your livestream chat, no capslock or bm kthxbye

umm, you really need to explain yourself better than this. I didn't notice anything that was said/screamed that was overly inappropriate. the only thing i can think of is bm towards combat-ex. I really feel sorry for you if you guys would leave because of a "handful of people" ?trolling?.
