I'll be driving FROM the event to Mississauga so I'm able to help people living in south etobicoke/sauga get back home faster

Also - what's about parking in that area? Street parking is not the best thing to leave the car overnight... I don't really care for a $30 ticket but it'd be nice to know if there are ways to avoid that.

thinking that we can also use a photographer. someone who can enjoy the event but take a couple of higher quality pictures - all good fodder to help chromate get sponsorship and publicize the event in the future.

I've heard it's not very social between sets... maybe you should have a mic set up with an MC? You should definitely turn on the lights between sets so people can talk to each other. Dunno, just trying to help

Does anyone need a ride from Pickering? I'm undecided if I will drive the whole way down or take the go train or subway. If a lot of people from Pickering need a ride and will pitch for parking I'll just drive everyone.

Hey chromate + others in Toronto.

I have some local people hanging out on bnet itching to play games. Would any of you like to do some SF/NorCal Bay Area vs Toronto area league matches?

Kick start the friendly rivalry xD xD xD !!!!!! Next time, we should do our NorCal vs Toronto as a set of league matches officially, haha. I'll talk to chromate about it more =)

I won vs shifft, sucks i gotta play bekho/sooch after, both are my teammates from uoft, we're hanging out at a internet cafe now. If its combat ex i the finals, or a P ill forfeit my spot so its not a pvp (if i win)

hate to ask this again, but is anyone coming from north of toronto, newmarket or above? last time got a ride from a kind gentleman and a ride back from someone else but havent seen any posts of people driving from my area

there was an mc and lots of people were talking during breaks so not sure where you're getting your info from

very noble of you but not to worry I'll come up with a nice solution if that happens. (Probably where you both play our usa rivals)

Also I got to test streaming today and I'm pretty sure we can do it and at 720p. I'll be bringing my HD web cam and my cad m179 microphone. it will be awesome

You know the lights and what not are a good idea, part of issue is the venue itself doesn't lead to mingling, litterally being a movie theater. Hard for people to move around and people jsut tend to chill. It's something that bothered me. We def had a mic and I have a few ideas to get the crowd going. Also to try to get people mixing up and chilling.

Maybe we can bouce ideas back and forth at the bar beforehand?
