I honestly did not know that there was one opposite wilko's. Shows how much I know about what's going on in this town! Its good to know that there are not only other players but also other TL people in colchester. I'm a really shite player who can't break out of Bronze, but if you ever just fancy a chat or some casual games, feel free to add me on bnet. Would be good to stay in touch with another colchester sc2 player :-) Wychwood969

![]() That being said, if anyone wants to get some practice in, um, low plat level i think I'm at, 3.1k plat, 3rd in the division but idk, I only reached plat a few days ago so i just assume thats low plat?? Especially tvt's and tvz @disco, the growing xenophobia in the UK worries me bro, UK has always been a tribal place though I suppose, no different to say many parts of Spain etc where a lot of people would prefer to just 'keep it local' ![]()

Would be good to stay in touch with another colchester sc2 player :-) Wychwood969 PCA was open for years, i was very said when it closed down, it was what originally got me into dota which i then (including the time i spent playing hon) i played for about 7 years. As for (maybe it was called Red Cafe?) the other one, it was okay as well. Don't worry about it, i'm no awesome player, i haven't played enough games yet to get into masters, and because of the silly battle.net change i can no longer say that with proof, but as of last week i had like 60% win rate or so, i've played like 140 games in 1v1, because i only recently got back into it since the beta, and i don't play while i am at uni, but over easter i am planning to power hard and get into middle masters, i have played rts's for a long time and never really tried to be good, but i have decided to do that in SC2. The point i am getting in a very round about way is that i would love to help you practice, i have been helping my brother recently who managed to finally get out of silver so that was really cool, and just having a practice partner is helping me a lot because i can practice builds regardless of skill level of my opponents, and if you are practicing against pretty good build as opposed to the constant cheese that they have in the bronze league it will help you get out of it, and it would be really cool to help you do that. http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/880168/1/Surili/ This is a copy of my profile (Surili.603) add me there and i'll be online a lot throughout the entire month of april. If you want to talk or maybe let me watch you play (which i still do at uni i simply don't play myself) we can talk on skype if you have it, anyone can feel free to pm me if they want my name on skype. Hope to see you online. Emmanuel (Surili)

Hope to see you online. Emmanuel (Surili) Sweet, cheers man. I'd really appreciate any help. I've been stuck up against the cheese for some time. I can never get enough time on the game to get good enough to counter the cheese. I think my micro skills have now managed to go beyond bronze league, but my macro lets me down. So are you living in Colchester while at/not at uni, or are you here all the time? In some ways I wish that SC2 had been out while I was at uni as I know exactly what I would have been doing with my holidays!!! Here's my bnet profile http://eu.battle.net/sc2/en/profile/515546/1/Wychwood/ if you want to have a look. As you can see, I've not really played that much. Sadly that's what having a full time job has done to my ability to game! It's something I pick up and put down a lot. Problem with gaming so inconsistently is, if I play 4 games in an evening, I'll win one. Possibly. Some play against non-cheese, non-complete noob opponents will hopefully be really useful, cheers. Will send you an add this evening with any luck. Hopefully see you online soon

On second thoughts we should probably switch this conversation to pm so that we don't get off topic.

Add me on SC if anyone's up for a few games: FoX -- 1147 ![]() For those of you who say there's no gamers near you, I feel your pain. I'm from North Wales, and it's really the back of beyond. I mean, unreliable internet, and all my friends play CoD & Xbox mainly. No co-workers to try and co-erce into gaming either, since I'm self employed. D'oh! I'd love to see some LANs around the Manchester/Chester area...I'd be totally in for something like that. They're all too far away for me to attend though ![]()
