So csl = collegiate starcraft league.
this is where universities play starcraft matches against each other.

since orientation is already starting here at carnegie mellon university, i guess ill start the recruitment for this year here.
if you attend cmu and are interested in playing some scbw, sc2, or participating in the collegiate starcraft league, email cmustarcraft (at) (the email service google owns lol) (dot) com with some relevant stuff such as your andrew email, game, race, rank, etc.
if you attend another university, i guess look around for relevant contacts =p
the csl this fall semester will be in sc2.
update, so i'll explain a bit of how csl works here at cmu
so usually we basically register up basically everyone for the csl.
however, each week we can use at most like 5 people so we will rotate between the decent players.
we also casually game with each other for fun, sometimes have events where we steal a room on campus and watch korean pro games on projectors, etc.
we're not actually an official club yet, but we do officially represent cmu for the csl.
most likely we'll have an ice breaker event so all us sc nerds can get to know each other in the beginning of the year.

We will have a meet up in Wean 5328 this Saturday, September 4th, from 2 pm to whenever we get bored. Also, we will be playing(hopefully) both BW and SC2(My laptop probably can't handle SC2....)! --snipinpanda

Based on my experiences I'd say average last season was around D+, although I'm sure it differs by division.

Princeton's only there for testing purposes. All things related to registration will open August 25 . See that newspost for schools, or this thread for TL threads. UCI (blabber) is there ^^

Yeah I first read it as Central Michigan University. hahah I went there for a year before changing majors and moving back home to save money. Id love to see something like this in the area though. Seems like alot of the community events are far far away from our barren state

CMU is going to have a baller CSL team this year. 4 diamond players in my block housing group and my roommate (iccup c- zerg) is gonna be switching to sc2 and will be diamond as well. See you in a week.

Yeah this is me. I just got C- for the first time this summer (go ahead and laugh at my shitty record http://www.iccup.com/starcraft/gamingprofile/[GG]haxorz.html). And I've only been playing BW for a little over a year now, so I didn't think I was good enough to play CSL last year. I will be starting to play SC2 once school starts up next week. CMU fighting!~
